There is a mountain directly under the mcc for the attacking team on the new skirmish map that is constantly being glitched/abused located around F,6 on the grid.
Edit: I've noted that you can kill those that use it but it's so often glitched that this is actually a rare occurrence.
this position allows you to shoot out and not get shot I recently had a problem with two (incredibly bad) snipers on this mountain with nanohives while they were not overly good they were harassing the immortals at the objectives so went to put an end to them.
I had them in my sights (as an anti-sniper) as they did have their entire body exposed as they sat on the peak(and at some points seemed to hover a foot off the ground) lined it up for face removal and took the shot ,no kill
actually dropped my scope in shock thought I just missed so lined it up a second time , again no kill
aimed for the second target and took the shot ,no kill
had to reload due to using a tactical sniper took three more shots,sane result, switched to scrambler pistol let out a few rounds and reloaded(this will fix hit detection issues sometimes) take a shot ,still nothing.
Switch to advanced sniper NT-511 or something (sue me I'm tired) nothing
Charge sniper,nothing
Militia sniper, nothing
switch back to my tactical aim for a hostile sniper at another position and kill him (just to make sure I'm not going off my rocker) and end up killing some dude named Hunter Jank (may have been Janko or Janka something like that so apologies if I got your name wrong as I'm sure no one would name their immortal hunter jank) so my sniper is working.
Aim back at the mountain and try to kill the snipers no hit detection. again
game ends Q up for another skirmish same map.
spawn in and immediately start aiming for the same spot to see if a sniper is there,there is, take the shot and get the same result.
at this point I just say screw it and leave it alone aim back around 10 minutes in the match and try to kill said sniper again,to get nothing.
this glitch has aggravated me for about 10 matches now so after testing if there was a way around it ( baring running up there with an ar) such as switching positions and height elevation nothing worked so making this so it can be looked at.
if you have experience with this spot on the map please post below my fellow dusters and try not to turn this into an argument about snipers please. |

yeah, i've had quite a new matches wit the same result. i got soo pissed that i asked the squad leader to drop an orbital on top of a squad of snipers on that mountain. |

The is a spot where you can hit them from, underneath the old defender MCC spot... but your out in the open and more likely to be shot than remove them... and even then they'll just spawn back in and walk back, invulnerable to all unless you sit there in the open JUST to ruin their day. |

Before the wipe, I've had no problem counter-sniping people there. "headglitchers" just died from headshots.
The only real problem is that the dot on your scope will turn red when you're within about a foot of hitting them, so counter-snipers have to find the center of the "hit" zone to actually hit. |
