Allright i took the bait that CCP throwed at me and played it on the trial. My experience with it:
-Learning curve? lol seems familiar with dust skills, setups etc. Didnt find it too hard.
-Gameplay is boring as hell (ship spinning yay... sigh)
-spending more time flying from A to B or whatever god forsaken rock you are aiming for
-PVP is not appealing for beginners
-Missions are repetetive i recognised this espacially cause i had 2 lvl 1 agents on the same station and the missions just repeat over and over again.
-Low sec ecnourages camping i realised this cause as soon i jumped trough a gate i got insta killed.
-Lag issues are extreme espacially with gate campers. My ship blew up before my shields where gone.
-frame rate issues even when playing on the lowest settings
-skill requirements: 3 fingers on hotkeys duh.
playergroups:
-no lifers
-nerds
-bots (miners lol)
-chinese prision inmates who are forced to farm ISK and sell it on ebay. (slavery)
Overall:
not a very good game and i woulda died of boredom if didnt stopped playing it. Well just another nerdy game and in my opinion not worth playing and espacially not worth the money (which i didnt spend due to the trial). If you want to fund your dust merc i would just say that you demand high payouts from the eve pilots that should do it.

I play eve on a basic PC i bought for 500 bucks and i get no lagg no frame rate issues,
Don't like the fire? stay away from it then |
