Before the update grenades were perfect, they had a fuse that cooked right, reasonable at that and a great throwing range with no issuies anywere. Now they are the best weapon in the game, milita locus grenades will give you the preformance of a sagris tank at the tip of your fingers. They blow up when you bounce them! throw it in the air and it will last over 6 seconds but throw them at your feet and they blow up 2 seconds later. Were is the math in this? I dont understand this at all. What i do understand is everyone throwing them whenever they can and 9/10 they will get a kill by throwing it at point blank. Before the reset i had an awsome defence so it dident kill me as much as it does now. But now, i cant escape the grenade. No matter what happens, or who im fighting of any class or skill level they always kill me with a milita locus grenade. Theres simply no counter for it no matter what i do, it explodes too fast to get away. I have never been this disapointed in a game that i have really enjoyed and invested so much time into, and i am sad to say if the grenades stay the way they are now i will stop playing dust. Theres really no point in playing a game that makes you frustraited, dust is not fun anymore with this new grenade mechanic, it feels like a chore to play through the spam. I hope CCP reads and considers this next time they act

Agreed, grenades are way too powerful. Militia grenades are being spammed like crazy now. They should not detonate so quickly. |

Yes everyone hates the two second timer, the throwing mechanic last build was garbage, this ones getting better. But that timer NEEDS to go!!!!

I agree as well and it is slowly turning this game into unplayable and feeling much much more like a grind. Hot fix this. |

The throwing mechanics are still garbage. They only work if you're holding perfectly still. The problem seems to be that the path of grenades (and just about every other projectile) seem to be determined by where you are and what direction you're facing at the start of the animation and not at the end when the grenade actually leaves your hand. Either that or lag is causing a rubberband effect. |
