i've been seeing people's posts saying that this was the last wipe, but i can't find any announcement about it in the forums. is this the last wipe, or will there be one before release? if this is the last one, we are going to have a big advantage over the noobs that come in upon release. not that i care too much, but they might. |

which blog. i read the 2 for december. can't find anything there. simple yes or no would be great. possibly a link for us simple people who don't have time to read every single announcement because we have lives. if i wanted to be patronized, i'd go back to the MAG forums. |

Come the 22nd when open beta drops we all get wiped.

I have a life, a family, 2 jobs, 2 kids and run a corp and find the time to keep up to date with things. That's no excuse. |

Honestly,I just don't see how they aren't going to wipe it one more time.
Doesn't make any sense that those that haven't been able to get into the beta(albeit,unless you are totally inept at using a PC,it really isn't that hard to get a beta key)are going to start at a two week disadvantage.
Aside from those that couldn't get a beta key,there are those that felt like waiting until the game was more polished.I guess technically that's on them,but it's not doing your playerbase any favors.New players will already be behind the curve and yet CCP is going to punish them for waiting until the game is done? Sorry,but that really doesn't make a lot of sense.
If I were a betting man,I would put my money on that CCP will have a reset once it goes to final release.It's just not good for business any other way. |
