Welcome all to Tranquillity, hopefully most of you have had a chance to take districts or suffer at the hands of orbital bombardment already.
The Outcast Dead are an anti-Federation organisation primarily, accepting contracts from any empire but the Federation, but with a bias towards pro-Caldari interests. Essentially, we aim to be a light-roleplay corporation heavily invested into Faction Warfare.
Though not possessing the established reputations and track history of some of the other beta corporations, TODEA is dynamic, eager and growing. Our eve links are strong, with multi-militia support contacts and a clear mission (make money, screw over the Federation at all costs). The benefits to working with us are:
- Friendly, mature gamers interested in playing the game. Clich+Źd as it is, we'd rather fight and win/lose among friends than any alternative.
- Supported development; whether you're a dab hand at fittings and tactics and willing to share, or a true noob worried about blowing his own foot off we're ready to give you the time and/or distance you need to develop into your chosen role.
- Corporation matches - every corp offers this, but the fact that an entire mode of game play is unlocked by being in a corporation cannot go without mention.
- Regular district assaults/defence with the opportunity to benefit from capsuleer support.
- Experienced EVE players and a Caldari Militia alliance, willing to share their expertise and ease any newcomers to New Eden into 'Internet Space Ships'.
- We want to play in all timezones, but UK/GMT will benefit the most due to our initial intake being largely European.
A quick shout out to our EVE partners, Wiyrkomi Honor Guard and Kirkonvaki. Click links to see their promotional material if you are interested in finding a home for any capsuleers you may want to call OB from.
We are looking for:
- Mature gamers. Age is less important than being clear, concise and pleasant to talk to.
- It isn't essential, but if you dislike the Federation, we've already got something in common.
- Logistics and Vehicle hopefuls are in high demand across almost all corporations for a reason. We share their love of combat engineers and treadheads.
- Objective oriented individuals. Love the red objective, not the red line!
- Strong team players. Even lone wolves should have an eye for intel worth reporting and an ear for calls for assistance. The corp that plays together wins together.
- Young up and comers. Not about age, but about attitude. We're young, with a reputation in need of building. If you like the idea of helping with that, we should talk.
So, in closing - if you like Loyalty, Integrity and cold hard cash, but think that those democratic Feds are a nuisance, send myself, or Noboru Tahvo Toivonen an eve mail so we can arrange to have a chat.
Best of luck marines,
Mendov |

Update; the first five marines are building their skills and funds. If you are interested in helping take us to the next level, ready to take districts for our clients, recruitment will remain open up to 24 initial members. As ever logistic, vehicle pilots and objective driven marines are highly valued. |

As of today, 'Squad Up Sunday' will be running as a combination of social gaming and a way to see if running with The Outcast Dead would be enjoyable for you and us. As stipulated in our recruitment standards, all we ask is that you have an idea of what you would like to specialise into, and have a calm, pleasant demeanour for clear communication on the battlefield and off.
As for skill, we'll let the game do the talking for all of us there, stats are not as important to us as people willing to learn/teach and generally have a good time from contract to contract. All the better if you;re a follower of the game back story and a State patriot to boot . |

Daily update.
Yesterday's small corp event went well, with only a single squad having a great time in instant battle. Lots of lessons learned by all parties and nearly a dozen hostile tanks reduced to scrap over four games (those militia launchers get scary when four guys start hot swapping and volleying).
I can't overstate the importance of combined arms tactics and sharing fittings with friends, calibrating our anti-inf and anti-armour fits between games showed a marked improvement above and beyond the slow increase in aptitude shown by even the newest people involved.
Prior to the next Squad Up Sunday I will be posting details of a squad up chat here, so that you can try us out to see if you'd like to be a part of the team, or just come along for some fun regardless of your allegiance. Just remember; no srs bizniss and keep it clean and friendly.
Good hunting. |

Some news from 'the Other Side', bombardment in EVE can be pretty fun. Several exciting fights with my friends in the Caldari militia have resulted in multiple Federation ships being destroyed in low orbit whilst trying to bombard, only for our Caldari marines to call in bombardments from us!
Denying support to our enemies is one thing, killing them in space and on the ground in one session just adds to the fun!
As ever, we are open for applications till we hit our target membership (roughly 24 members for leadership reasons, till we get more squad and field commanders trained up). |

Our capsuleer allies have been getting in good practice wiping out hostile orbital elements and assisting our friends in other dust corporations. So when you apply to join us, you can be sure that we will do our level best to control the skies and enable us to deliver the coup de grace to our enemies from on high.
As ever, our members' skills continue to grow, with logistics and 'wave assault' shotgun scouts proving a popular combination in the more urban environments. Vehicle pilots will be highly prized and as the dust and eve economies merge, we will be financing high end gear to ensure our forces are as equipped as they need to be to get the job done.
All of the contact details in the OP still stand, get in touch to help us bolster our numbers and become a force to be reckoned with! |

The growth continues, slowly but surely. We are now enrolled in the Caldari Militia, and are growing into corporation battles while we train up using instant battle. Our contacts with our eve allies are solidified and they are reporting great success in bombarding and ensuring the orbit of a district battle remains friendly.
For those new to the lore, even though we are light (unenforced) rp, heavy on action, I'd like to make the FOLLOWING available, so you know what we're all about, and what is colouring our focus in the landscape changing battles in the New Eden cluster. |

Daily bump.
Mercs looking to fight for the State, with assurances of support and future financial support for high-cost/vehicular activities should express their interest to Noboru Tahvo Toivonen or myself. We are preparing for a ground offensive to reclaim key areas of Caldari space (lontrek, The Citadel and Black Rise) and need friendly, competent team players to make this happen.
At this time, Heavy, Logistics and Vehicular specialisations are highly prized; they will also be top priority for funding when an agreeable eve->dust isk transaction system opens up.
Apply today, regardless of race or bloodline, you can fight for your State!

Things are heating up. Full squads, hitting top placements as a group. We have a long way to go, but we are getting there. If you wish to fight for the State and join us in victory, you should seriously consider applying.
As usual, Mic very much preferred and mature applicants only. |

Having replied to a few LFC requests in this forum, one thing is on my mind. Be good to yourselves, whether you're new or old. We have instant battle and many corps ask you to try out. You're not the product in this relationship, you're the customer. It isn't just if you meet the cut, it is about if you can enjoy, share and participate in the culture that corporation represents.
For some this is the cut throat world of KDR based recruitment and some abstract concept of 'pr0 gaming'. That's fine, though it isn't a sentiment I share.
What I want to offer is simple; join TOD-Public, ask to squad up when you see us there and if you have a good time, consider helping us move up to the District Battle level by joining us. Even if you find your loyalties lie elsewhere, you're welcome to squad up for instant battles, but I am sure that if you share our enjoyment of teamwork, good times and low-stress game play; you'll want to be one of the team.
Just remember that we are primarily Caldari aligned, we might be mercs but we have some loyalties! |

My apologies to you TODEA, but it seems that our corporations will be in direct competition with one another for the title of 'biggest pain in the Gallente's ass'. Under any other circumstances, I would suggest a merger. However I am contractually obligated to command the Caldari Navy's marines, just as I'm sure Wiyrkomi would be reticent to let you go. Hopefully we will be able to work together for contracts, rather than vying against each other for them, but I doubt it. |

By all means. We don;t discriminate on stats, we just want to build a friendly, mature gaming environment and evolve as our community is capable of.
So long as you're not overly interested in supporting the vile Federation and their tribal allies, I think we'll provide a good match. Please join tod-public when you apply as well! |

Welcome to our two new recruits! Moving on to further recruitment, we have hit our first milestone of having a full day of operations with a full squad - not noteworthy for our larger peer-corps, but a big step for us. We will soon have a second squad running, at which point we will be engaging in a programme of vehicular training for those interested, to give us the ability to fight in corporation matches effectively.
Remember to join tod-public for our 'try before you buy in' squad ups and be aware we are UK/EU time zone heavy with a focus on the evening hours (1900 to 2100) on weekdays. Mature gamers welcome, State Patriots prized. |

Back up to the top.
Initial training is going well, and a lot of fun is being had. We're starting to square up to other player-corp squads in instant battle and coming out favorably in many cases, but we need new members to grow our talent-base and stride with us to victory.
Logistics/Medic, AV and MBT (non militia) are current primary focus for development. Assault AR (GEK-38), objective capture and Heavy HMG are the core concepts that have been doing all our corporation proud and we welcome line troopers looking to excel at the capture and kill elements of the game.
As we develop these abilities, Dropship pilots will become more of a priority for us, so if you're experimenting with being a flying-bus driver, and fancy dodging missiles in a CRU equipped flying box, do not think that just because this isn't a primary focus atm that it will not be lavished with the attention it deserves as we start to master the art of ground warfare.
Essentially, if you have a team focus in your character progression, you are welcome, the above merely highlights the focus of our small pool of officers for squad tactics currently. As more people grow into the corp, this cadre of advisors and leaders will grow and enable more complex tactics and a focus on ever more specialist careers.

Daily bump.
Not much to report today, aside from continued good times and banter, alongside getting our newer players into positive KD on a per match basis. The focus on finding 'roles you enjoy and that support your team' is paying off - we have enthusiastic logibros, kill-hungry heavies and assaults with a good sense of the cut and thrust of taking objectives.
Demanding excellence out of the box alienates the most important resource of all, casual players who have great potential to learn. We want you, regardless of KD, if you have the will and ability to improve while remaining friendly and focused. You can raise stats, but meshing as a team is something that can only operate on a personal basis.
On an rp note, we are negotiating entry into a Caldari FW alliance that has been recently formed to uphold the values of the Kaalakiota corporation. If ruthless execution of duty is your thing, we're your destination. RP not mandatory, but we find a bit of thematic forum posting helps flesh out the boundaries while we wait for a stronger EVE/DUST link.

Recruitment is still open, please join the TOD-Public channel to talk or give reasons for applying, I have had many blank applications that really don't help me to decide how best to proceed with your application. A few games on comms before accepting your app is the norm to ensure we can get along and play competitively, but amicably.
