What if the SP daily cap is just for the two weeks that we have closed beta for all of us Beta testers. Then when the open beta launches we get a new SP system. What if the daily SP cap is to slow down our SP before the next wave of players gets in. CCP wants to give us the beta testers a nice head start for helping them, but not to much that we are OP off the bat against new mercs in Dust.
Just a thought.. |

Well since i have both passive and active SP and can find the time to play 1-3 hours each day over the next two weeks this cap really isnt much of a deterrent for me.
I'll have 1,075.200 SP at a minimum head start(not including the starting SP since they have that too) also not including the added SP from matches past cap which wont be much but i figure will add up to at least one lvl 1 or 2 skill in a low multipler skill. |

I just thinking its kinda of fishy that we got this new daily SP cap just prior to moving to TQ and prior to a two week bonus period for all of us testers. Look Ive worked for Sony before and they really do think about this kind of stuff.
Do you really see them sitting around and think that a daily cap will keep a FPS going on a console? No, but I do see them using this to see what response they get, to see more data from the daily playing and the amounts players have. I do see them limiting our SP's before the new players come in and like poster above stated its about a "1,075.200 SP at a minimum head start".
I don't see the daily lasting past the 22nd and with the lack of communication or even really an effort to communicate that sorta tells me CCP PR(public relations) has said not to say anything until the announce the new system. Again been here before and I know that CCP PR has a finger in on this and the lack of twitter or IRC communication is a telling sign. |

Yeah Nav I am excited for this as well. 22nd I think will be a big day for everyone. Wonder if we get a new update/patch or just continue with what we have. Id love to see new maps, new weapons, new gear and a new SP system that works for more players. |
