Zion Shad wrote:I want to set up a meeting to hire you guys. If you truly are Merc's for hire then I'm ready to stick money where your mouth is. Will chat details in game. Contact me.
we know you are just taking caldari contracts and losing to us as expected exploit the FW system in eve/dust man.
so the question is do you want to hire us really or just use us to in your efforts to exploit the contracting system you so love? Honestly, if the money is good we could give a fk why |

You do realize that you are openly exploiting EvE via dust mechanics right? Not only that but you have identified the exploit and are using it for financial gain. I know you are probably laughing thinking you are super smart guy but in the EvE universe this is a permaban offense. I can't see how ccp would let you get away with it and not levy some sort of punishment as you know full well what you are doing and bascially bragging about it and I quote
"Enjoy the 100k while we enjoy the billions from FW for taking these Districts. In fact Noc if you want to help us you will be payed well. Lets chat and see if you truly are mercs for hire"
Thats the quote that ccp has too btw. better get an good eve lawyer man.
IMPS might be forum trolls but we want nothing to do with exploits |

It's so that the exploit you claim Zionshad is taking advantage of for personal gain can get fixed. Reading comprehension isn't hard and is expected on an elementary level.
sota pop we all knew about this last month and it was identifed as an issue like many other things. I get it zionshad doesn't like it and wants it fixed but identifying an exploit, using it, braging about it is not acceptable. I have nothing against zionshad but he is being stupid here and didn't need to do it to prove a point. I don't think ccp will be too happy about it.
Yes we figured it out what zion tcd was doing rather quickly and had a good laugh about it on the forums but its needs to stop and not happen anymore.
Think of the big picture here. Do we really need backlash from eve players once they hear that dust mechanics can exploit and effect them financially. No and thats my main concern.

Do we really need backlash from eve players once they hear that dust mechanics can exploit and effect them financially. No and thats my main concern. I see - I get you now. I want the stability between the two community be as smooth as possible as well. If this was a known issue I hadn't heard of it till now so I found the post insightful. CCP seems the kind of developers who need to be reminded of possible exploits - they have a lot on there plate. ZionShad may not be doing it in the best way - but it is an effective route if you consider the progression of just the dust community. I could say more but I am not an EvE player so my comments are invalid. Glad you took the time to explain yourself +1
As an eve player of many years all I hear is hate about dust and ccp spending money on it etc. The number 1 concern eve players have is what negatvie effects dust can have on the isk of eve players.
man you have no idea how stupid this is. I don't care about what happens or not to zionshad and I dont think he was trying to be dirty about it but it had to be the worst timing to do something this stupid.
Look we all screw up and make bad decisions but damn.
The news has already spread too |

Noc Tempre wrote:I don't blame Zion for pointing out the really obvious flaw in the FW system from random generated contracts. Onus *should* be entirely on CCP. Unfortunately, given their track record, there is likely to be a witch hunt for "abusing" a system by using it to throw matches (a feature concept as old as the first trailer) so while I think Zion is morally in the clear, there is no way we can risk being involved.
This. The eve side of me loves the dirty play. Just the mechanics as such, are a bad thing and stupid to do first day we are connect to eve universe. |
