FUS1ON Tournament Controller for PS3
Have I just thrown my money away getting one of these?
Anyone have any feedback on it because my one is not going to get to the UK for 2 weeks arg.
I have looked about at others and just canGÇÖt seem to find one I might like so if anyone has some experience with controllers other than the PS3 one please let me know because I know many are in the same boat.
Ones I have found so far are:
FUS1ON http://www.powera.com/Products/FUS1ON-Tournament-Controller-PS3

That design not getting sued by microsoft amazes me lol - it's almost identical to the xbox controller - which really is a better controller for FPS games. |

Xbox is the better design for fps, however with it being an unofficial controller you might get input lag etc. |

You really think so, always felt askew and imbalanced to me with the left stick above the d-pad?

Ah yea I heard about this but I was told that was a factor in wireless setups not with wired ones.
Yes/No?
@ Ludwig Van Beatdropin
Actually yes I do because my poor broken old manGÇÖs hands are hurting using this tiny controller. |

Did some quick research for ya - seems you picked a solid controller. If it works out lemme know - may pick one up myself next year when I'm not so broke lol |

In other games the Xbox controller is just a larger version of PS3's - I think xbox hit a sweet spot with there design. |

At least by theory. It's the route I plan on trying since I happen to own PS move. |

I've always been of the same persuasion. Personally like the symmetrical feel to the DS3 over XBox. I always find myself looking down to find the little button placements for XBox, but I'm sure that has to do with my inexperience with it. Only ever played Halo and Fable. |

The Xbox360 controller should not be confused with the original Xbox controller. The original was just.. clunky and bad. |

Well I have fairly big hands and seem to be ham fisted. The stalk of the mushroom has a 2mm deep cut in it after just 1000 + hours of dust. Mostly tho it feels awkward but then I have broken a lot of bones in my hands over the years.
Edit: Anyone change controllers and find it took time to adjust and if so how long?
Need to know how long I can use this as an excuse for sucking. |

Yeah, I can't differentiate personally between the two, (although I'm sure there are differences) as I have maybe a total of 2 hours on the 360 from time spent chilling at my brothers house. |

Damn friend said momentum would stabilize me. He was right - but he should of mentioned braking too fast = death. xD
But yea - same concept. Brain maps out rather quickly and adjusts. You muscle memory may come into play if your used to the old design - otherwise you should get used to it quickly. |

Heck, I have the same controller I got 5 years ago with the same fatty, albeit now with an SSD instead of the stock HDD, I know exactly of the grooves you're talking about. Only change I've ever found difficult to cope with is using a controller without rumble. It just feels too light in addition to the tactile loss of the vibration. |

Riding a bike remains an unfathomable black art to me. So I think I can milk the controller switch for some time. |

Might take you a couple of days, the main problem I had was pushing my finger into the side of the battery pack because of the way I had my fingers placed. |

Standard Ps3 and xbox 360 controller. Looked into scuff gaming but not much point for the Ps3 one imo unless you want the paddles on the back. |
