The details surrounding the EVE side of faction warfare are extremely complex, but i will try to explain my reasoning for all of you to join the Caldari military in relatable terms.
Right now, before even one of you has even seen TQ the Caldari only own 2 systems of their warzone. The Gallente own 95% of the territory they fight over. This has almost deadlocked the faction warfare system as the Caldari are pushed so far back that they can't seem to take any ground. If too many of you join the Gallente, and you win enough battles. You will make it impossible for the Caldari to fight back, putting the final nail in the coffin. Then the Caldari stop fighting, and you have no more war. You the mercenary are dependent upon conflict. Joining the Gallente is meaningless, they don't need nor do they care about your help they have gotten on fine without you. So they have no incentive to dedicate one of their pilots to helping you with orbitals, or helping you at all for that matter. I urge you to join Caldari, your help will be greatly appreciated and you would be considered a valuable asset rather than a distraction. |

i also forgot to add that once EVE pilots can pay you personally that within this system Caldari mercs would actually be paid more because they help more |

the Amarr empire faces the same fate because both the Gallente and minmitar do something called "cross plexing" that will bolster the minmitar defenses and deadlock the amarr empire if they don't have to dedicate any resources to fighting the caldari. Domino effect |

Here is your chance to turn the tide, and most importantly cause more than a few of those complacent capsuleers to wake up and smell the DUST.
And finally, you will bank mad ISK fighting the odds on favorite Gallente for the long shot Caldari.
The capsuleers look at us, if at all, as worms. Beyond contempt. Just as the Gallente look upon the Caldari. The Dust mercenary's true calling is to fight for the underdog, and show those smug bastards that are always looking down their noses at those they hold in contempt that those noses can be bloodied. And Gallente noses smash real good.

Before all the FW got revamped it didnt matter what each side did because you had your PvP'ers and PvE'ers farming the L4 missions in bombers
Now tho that space actually matters its sorta went one sided with the amarr and caladri getting completely crushed by the minmatar and gallente and really nothing then can really do about it because its hard as **** to get owt done
After the changes i ended up farming and less PvP because they failcascaded and left and either moved on or joined minmatar to farm L4
Maybe DUST may change that |

If a Dust merc corporation (not one of those corps that is just an offshoot of an already existing body in EVE) had any real ambition, foresight, or cajones and wanted to make a name for themselves, they would strive to be the crew that turned the tide of war.
Instead of taunting other corporations about closed beta matches. Or joining the already winning side.
Hopefully we can make a difference that will force people to sit up and take notice. |

you think caldar cares for your lives? hah all they care about is their bottom line, so go ahead fight for the corporate titans of the caldari but dont try to be too surprised when they hire someone to kill you to tie up loose ends |
