Just curious to when they'll come out since tomorrow is the beta testers "full release" of the game or perhaps will there be a patch update in two weeks when the public comes and joins us?
I like to collect them just for fun. I love DUST for DUST. But the trophies add more re-playability to it and soforth.
Any ideas on when it'll happen?  |

TBH - Trophies are handled by Sony and not CCP. It is under there system that trophies are created - not the creators ideas. So more then likely we won't have any until CCP announces it's official release date. |

Ya usually my plat is like my mark of approval of a good game, and even though Dust514 will be nigh impossible to achieve I MUST TRY, but prolly wont be there till full release. I dont think sony allows trphys for demos. However it would be nice if the trophy stats were still tracked |

I don't even know what that means.
From what I understand,just because they are switching servers doesn't mean that it's going open beta yet.If I read it correctly,it's still closed,and will be so until like the 22nd or sometime later this month.
Furthermore,why would there be trophies in a beta anyway?

Whenever any game, no matter what state is released to the public, trophies are mandatory in every game since 2009 or 08'. (don't remember what year) Just like playstation HOME, it's been in "open beta" for years now, since it's not a game, it doesn't require trophies.
I'm just curious because since there's no more wipes for us, whether or not we'd have a "head start" on the trophies just like the head start we're getting in terms of SP.

Lol, fine with me. I care not for trophies, break out the decorations!!! Medals, ribbons, epaulets... That would add much needed depth, imho. Display case in merc qtrs? Hell yeah. I want my dropsuit to look like a North Korean general, though not in battle. They would get musssed.. Amarr Order of Merit, Caldari Cross of Valor or whatnot. |

yeah the "trophies" in dust are either medals that friendly corp officers like myself that have the permission from the ceo can create that will stay with you for as long as your merc exists.
these medals could be for whatever they decide whether its to commend a game that you played excellently or the success over a rival corp or alliance while contesting a planet or maybe eliminating them from low-sec all together
the other thing is the trophy room that will be in the warbarge at some point and you can take your buddies there and show off your best games and most expensive kills. |
