With the wipe coming noone cares about profits/losses or losing that officer gear or whatever. Tanks are being lost left and right and the money keeps pouring since more destruction=MORE MONEY!!! Yes it sucks being on the other end of a stacked team but when you have players on both sides with access to proto everything the game is a litany of destructive awesomeness. I think the imps had it right bust out that gear and put it on the line... I mean i get the whole P/L but only if you're trying to be self-sufficient, with TQ coming and EVENTUALLY access to the billions if not TRILLIONS of ISK from EVE corps i say who cares if you lose money every game if you win and take control of territory right? Bring on the sugar daddies!!! Anyway i only have militia dropsuit with some adv/proto mods, gear, and weapon but still its a crap ton of fun even though i hit cap hours ago.. Busted out my dragonfly suit that i was hording and played with a shotty=FUN cause i never did it before Bought half million dollars worth of FG and miltia Heavy and blowing stuff up I call my crappy sica and soma and just leave them in the base hoping a flood of bluedots will take them and rollout 7 tanks on the field. Why not? Im just saying let loose and use it if you got it cause this is the fun ive been waiting for.

Meaning, the game is pretty much like all the other FPS games out there. Where players don't have to worry about running out of consumable gear.

But I agree, the Ambush maps have been absolute chaos today and definitely a blast. Saw three tanks in one ambush map, got killed by **** I never even heard of, and finally got enough SP to use Gastin's HMG - underwhelming, I might add! But yeah, more fun this afternoon than I've had the whole time playing! I recommend ambush the next couple days!

That's a dangerous thing to show to people who don't play FPSs and EVE players in general. They might like it, and not appreciate going back to finite resources...

But thats kinda my point with access to billions to trillions of ISK from EVE corp do you really have to worry about consuming too many resources? Especially when contracts will net 100M ISK or more for some contracts. Sure you need to worry about P/L but i think ppl might be a bit too conservative from game to game when the opportunity to make 100M ISK from a FW contract can more than recoup the losses from a couple hundred pub matches depending on what your costs are.

Okay thats a bit excessive in terms of spending, but still if you had an EVE corp funding you it wouldnt even make a dent, that was the point i was making yes its very hard to maintain that kind of play on your own which is why being a part of a corp with EVE support will be key, once we have that i hope you kamikaze entire fleets of dropships just cause you can.

Most people are either using their best gear or trying out silly fits they hadn't done before. I got a three man nova knife squad together for a couple rounds and we just ran around trying to get kills and keep objectives capped. After deploy-stroying so many vehicles I know for sure that they are not for me. I do like wobbling around in the air though. I imagine six months from now even players without EVE funding will have enough resources to play like this more often.

Yes theres a real reason :P We want to see people disappear faster! (Used the Balac with 3 Complex Dam mods in Corp Battles, it was amazing <3 )
