Yes i know FG are hard to use they have a huge charge time and they are EZ to beat 1v1 in close range, but swarms cant even touch me.
I know it is very very very hard to get a kill with a FG against infantry and i am not qq because i was killed by one, more often i kill them with my MD before they can get a shot off and if they do often times they miss.
But they are used quite readily to snipe from a distance and im not sure if that should be a valid use for them.
What do you think? Should FG be more a primary AV weapon that has a lock on like swarm? |

AT present I have noticed that with AV grenades and swarm launchers, tanks seem a little um... papery.
That being said I remember the horrible tank rushes of Codex and earlier.
I don' t envy the Dev's balancing job. Maybe they shout make the lower tier swarms a little less killy. |

I apoligize for the confusion, what i mean by lock on i guess is its ability to only target vehicles and not infantry. The point i was trying to make is should FG function in a manner that would only allow it to be used against vehicles and not infantry.
Again not a qq just a thought. |

What do you think? Should FG be more a primary AV weapon that has a lock on like swarm? If you see sniping heavy on the roof - snipe him back(end of problem). FG is heavy weapon, and I think it should be a bit better then light one. And yes people will splash you with it if you are not to careful. |

Cant have a lock on for the FG, as you have to shoot in front of moving targets , infantry included giving time for the beam to get there.
If you use a lock on it will be for static targets only and then there is still no need for a lock system :)
