Coming from MAG, Ambush is like Suppression with vehicles. Skirmish is like Escalation/Interdiction. Whatever happened to the first build game mode (similar to Conquest mode in Bf3)? I like that one, because it's almost like Sabotage with vehicles.
Are we having a game mode like Domination? It doesn't have to be exactly the same idea, but the maps in Dust are huge and what's the point having it? I'm picturing it like multiple battles in one MAP, but how can you interact with them if you can't cross the redlines? At least in MAG you can, you park your vehicle behind a building, and everyone in your squad can attack the other platoon from behind.
Dust should have dynamic battles similar to MAG or Bf3. There should be a indoor battles maps, so that players who doesn't like to vehicle-FPS will have a chance in a real FPS mode. There should be a AAA to prevent enemies from calling in vehicles. |

Rush type mode would be amazing on the maps we have, but expanded as they once used to do in Replication. |

Remember: we have seen maybe a quarter of the game. They are giving us things designed to test the mechanics they need testing. Real planetary conquest will probably be a more flowing battle moving from an area with objectives, through an area with no objectives, to the next with objectives, rinse and repeat. What I think we will see is something more free form.
I suspect we will also have defend/capture situations other than this as well (think E3 build where we had to destroy objectives, not just take them over to get into the final destination.

Well, I guess new build but really who knows. Can't wait for new things but do we get a wipe before next build or do we keep our SP?

True. I'd love to keep the current skirmish (2.0) and also bring back the old skirmish (1.0) Also, I'd love to see a game mode like MAG's Acquisition. (essentially, a fancy capture the flag) Attacker/Defender and an objective to steal and run off with/defend. |
