In case this has not been posted. It is not known and IT should be. So here is my post on the POWER SLIDE. It's freaking awesome and CCP needs to put it in a help spinny. Please do not remove this feature CCP.

Here is how it works.

When you are in bleed out. When you hear the stab from your local logi bro. Hold in on L3 and push in the direction you want to POWER SLIDE. You will instantly slide around 10 yards in that direction. To the people around you it will look like you are sliding into home plate with one leg out and one tucked under. So much for that sniper getting you twice. I also think I was able to do this after an inertia drop but I need to check that out today again. I was also able to do a jump mid power slide once that made for some neat parkour off the side of a cliff.

TL DR. Press L3 in a direction when you hear the stab. "SAFE"

does the timing have to be perfect? or is there a general window of opertunity?

I'll have to give it a try later.

But I had a request for a slide movement way back when. I'd prefer it whenever I had the stamina to do it but when getting up sounds useful incase you do have a sniper on you from before.
