Price on Heavy stuff is ridiculous. Proto assault can have more shields than a proto heavy, but costs less? How does that make ANY SENSE?
Heavies costs more ISK and SP, yet get taken down so easy by militia nades...smh. |

Heavies costs more ISK and SP, yet get taken down so easy by militia nades...smh. Nope. 598 is highest possible, though assault suits have far better maneuverability.
The max a heavy proto VK.1 can reach with 3 complex shield enhancements is 597...
An assault proto can reach the max of 544... not even a 2 bullet diff... so imo that's no difference at all.
A heavy proto costs 246,800 ISK
An Assault proto costs 91,200...
Oh yeah that's more than fair compare to the heavy 3 high, 2 low, and no equipment slot...to absorb 1.5 bullets more. Great balance, and great price. |

lolarmor... 2 free nades will take care of that
Edit: you're clearly not seeing the point to my post. The price difference in proto heavy compared to assault is a joke. Wow we have a couple 100 more armor at the expense of our slow speed... nice argument. |

armor = slower speed.... so what's your next come back?
I didn't realize flux nades were free...

what bad math? In the start i guessed the numbers out. The I pulled out the calculator and worked out both.
Max for Heavy = 597
Max for Proto = 544 (if i'm not mistaken)
diff of 53
A difference of less than the standard AR's 2 bullets.
Any more bad math you want to clarify?
Edit: which i posted after I was corrected earlier... |

Ignoring an almost 400 hp difference in armor while claiming that it only survives 1.5 more bullets is bad math.
Your bad comprehension is beating my bad maths...i didn't say "survive" 1.5 bullets more... I was talking about shields, not heavies in general.
Didn't realize a difference of 317 is almost 400... my bad.
You're acting like armor has no drawbacks... heavies move slow because of this extra 400 hp of armor. What's the drawbacks of shields? You have the same amount of shields (basically) as a heavy, but with no drawbacks...
Again I come back to a militia blue print nade will take that 400 hp... free nades...
I'm done with this thread btw. You guys clearly want to run Assault and beat tanks too I'm sure.

Didn't realize a difference of 317 is almost 400... my bad. You're complaining about the price of suits, and talking about bullet survivability, but only bringing shields into the equation. You don't just compare things based on their shield value when talking about survivability or worth, especially when there's such a huge discrepancy in the armor values. It's not like suits are dead the second their shields hit zero. And it's not a 317 difference when you look at maxed mechanics, it's 396 (527 vs 131, you know, the numbers I posted earlier), which is almost 400.
i just looked at the base numbers... bad math again? 422-105= 317
