I wouldn't read too much more into it than is written there.

But -

It seems like the next build might actually be OpenBeta ie February'ish

There has been effectively ZERO testing of Faction Warfare.

However the various bits and pieces are there to have Faction Warfare.

Socketed maps in skirmish, corp contract system, OB, and the player tournament are all major pieces of Faction Warfare.

I'm going to be very disappointed in CCP if they don't manage to test Faction Warfare before it hits the live server :\

Ergo - MaybeGäó we'll have some actual FW testing in January.

FW testing, maybe another tourny. Or possible open beta coming. Could plan on allowing full teams in certain match types. Maybe even a increase on numbers in battle 24vs24

Phase 1 GÇô The Grace Period
This phase will be running from 10th - 21st of January. During this period CEOs of corporations will have to email our Game Masters at [email protected] and inform them which corporation name on Tranquility they would like to use. Example: GÇ£I would like to rename *Temporary Corporation Name* on Tranquility to *Current Corporation Name from Singularity*.GÇ¥ This way our Game Masters will make sure that your corporation name is ready for the post-migration. Please note that corporation names on Singularity are locked on Tranquility, preventing players from creating new corporation with that exact name.
