To tell if your equipment is saving your life or if it is generally your skill.
You turn the corner youre in protogear. An enemy turns the corner and sees you. Hes in militia gear. You lock eyes and both begin firing.
Now heres the decision maker. Being in a proto assault suit you should waste him. Waste him before your shields go out half way. If thats the case its a high probability your skill took over.
However if your shields are depleted half way or below, youre trash. Protobear needs work. If you have the upper foot it should never be compromised. Head to head in a situation like that.
Now if youre shields are relatively low and your armor is the high stat, then your shields can deplete but you should'nt lose 1/4 your armor, again youre trash.
Just a little food for personal thought. Not insulting anyone, just think of your previous conflicts and see if this applies to you. If so think of ways to improve ^.^ |

Havent tried the Proto suits yet. But i have too much fun using my Type I and Type II suits. 90% of the time i'm running Type I. I can feel the pain when i get lucky enough and take out Proto AR or decent Heavies with my Cheap suit. |

I think there have been a lot of new people in proto suits who are really... bad. I was in this one game where I killed this one guy in a proto suit at least 4 times, and I know a lot of you don't care right now because you have tons from salvage, but sooner or later it's running out, and you're going to be feeling the drain in your ISK wallet. |

Haha this is the guy that sent me hate mail cause i switched from my heavy to proto assault(cause its at the top of list on supply depot) and killed him.
Anyways i find it funny people constantly bitching about what gear you use or don't use. Sorry i skilled up and got good gear?
P.S - If you think i run full proto every pub like you seem to by your hate mails.. then lol. I wish i could afford that. |
