DUST Search - Skill point reset in beta and after release

Last I heard from CCP there will be no reset after open beta if all goes well. Besides, open beta is release anyway.

I don't understand 'open beta is release'. So has a date been given for release yet? Are you saying that the announcement of Open Beta is the same as an announcement of the official release day? I'm just a little confused by the whole thing now. I thought that open beta was just the server load testing, meant to get as many people onto the servers as possible before the actual official release day of the game. Bah....so much confusion!

This BETA will be the full game. You're going to get a lot more people playing it than would play a normal "BETA" so it might as well be the release of the game since there isn't really a reason to wait for a lot of people. EDIT: And yes, there is only going to be one more wipe when the game moves to TQ.
