Just started playing two nights ago and am I having a frustrating time trying to figure out the medic starter fit. How the heck do you revive team mates? I figured out finding hurt people, that was easy enough but I couldn't figure out what to do next. There was no prompt and I ended up just mashing buttons till someone popped me cause I was gittering around in one place for too long staring at map layouts and current game rankings I didn't need.
Am I missing something? I didn't notice any skill sets or special equipment, besides the naniteinjector.
A prompt that comes up while next to a downed team mate that says "press 'O' to Pulp Fiction Team mate" would be helpful. |

You must have Nanite injector on your hand; Press R2 and choose it from the selection wheel. Of course you must have it equipped on your suit also. Assault - Medic suit has it, if you don't yet know how to make your own fits. |

I was trying to choose it from the wheel, maybe I was just not scrolling over it correctly. After a few tries I got frustrated and thought there was something else I should be doing.
Thanks, I'll try again tonight after work. |

OR
Maybe you got it selected but just didn't hit the right place with the injector. There's 'little' bit of problems with the Nanite injector's hit detection too so you might have missed the corpse. That's pretty awful sometimes, but repeatedly tapping R1 and circling the corpse usually helps. Best not to be in the middle of battle then though.. |

It's a lot better than it used to be, but yes, Repe Susi is right. Once you've selected the injector (which will appear in your hand instead of a weapon, so you'll know if you've got it) and found the casualty, you may need to tap R1 around the body a little. I find starting near the feet seems to work, but that might just be me. |

Oddly enough, it is similar to finding how to climb ladders the first time or so. |

no, a weapon was always equiped. I jumped from my main weapon to side arm with ease, but no needles or whatever it is medics have (haven't even seen it from my perspective but I did see a guy do a diving revive on someone, which was awesome) |

I noticed that too, maybe I'm just not used to Dust's current graphics or something but it did seem more difficult than necessary to scale a ladder compaired to a COD or BF. Like I said, probably just a function of the game being in beta and unpolished |

Ok, you need to keep R2 pressed down, do not just tap. Then you have access to selection wheel. |

Hold down the middle mouse button/caps lock and use your mouse to select the nanite injector. |
