instead of having to donate (the corp doesnt get notifications that we do donate anyway , i'll talk about that in a new post.) 100k per day, corp tax could show up in the match that you play, so that a steady source of income can be available.

EVE corps can be joined by DUSTbunnies once we go live.

EVE corp directors can set tax rates in-corp. baseline is 5%. some corps go less some go zero, some go ten percent. but it's automatic deduction. I see no reason why this will not be implemented in DUST corps. And Exploited for a very brief time by would-be corp directors who figure out you can tax at 100%, but you can't force people not to abandon you for it.

EVE allows you to set a tax rate for the corp but this does not affect dust player earnings . We have discussed allowing a unified tax for EVE and DUST players alike but no decision on this yet.

I expect we will be looking at this again in 2013 though.

Why not make the tax rates independent between the DUST and EVE sides of a corp?

Given the differences that will exist, especially at the beginning, between income streams for the two sides, independent tax rates would make Mercs & Podpilots fit together more naturally.
