Exactly what the title says. I, Logi Bro, [Request] that when a player receives a grenade from nanohives/supply depots, that there be a mandatory cooldown before they can receive another grenade via resupply. I recommend 10/20 seconds, but that's not really my decision. |

I've gotten either a bug or feature where after so long I don't get any ammo for AR or anything until running away then back to it.
but I agree, but I also don't see much nade spam. |

There defiantly needs to be some kind of cooldown. I would hate to see grenade spam en masse from an orginized corp. |

Why?
We have Spam in many flavors: Forge Gun Lasers HMGs Redline Sniping Mass Drivers (how is this different from grenade spamming?) And ARs with good damage/sharpshooter mods.
You name the OP post and there is a feeling of being a spam recipient.
Nads are the great levelers. Nothing else, except Mass Drivers, come close to slowing up a Heavy with an HMG so you can try to get to cover of finish him off.
Besides, most Nads miss. |

I actually wouldn't mind seeing a slower resupply rate, rather than a cooldown.
Some things just get their ammo back way too fast.
Mass drivers, swarm launchers, forge guns, Grenades, etc.
The heavy hitting stuff all resupplies incredibly quickly. Providing you have people to feed you the nanohives, you could fire nonstop and never run out of bullets. if nothing else, that signifies to me that the replenish rate is too fast.

It is customary to give a reason for why you want a change when you request one. I'd very much like to know your motivation for making this request.
If it is about the current spamming situation I would much rather have the old 4 sec delay back than not being able to restock in a normal way. And why just nades? What makes them so special? |

They make themselves special by being a piece of equipment that everyone carries. Every suit has a grenade, and so therefore anyone can stand on a nanohive and spam grenades until the nanohive depletes, then they just throw another down and start spamming again. You don't hear about "MDs are OP because of spam" because only about 10% (probably less) of the population carries MDs. But 100% of the population carries grenades, and that's why spamming is an issue, not just the 2 second fuse. |
