I am sure most of the playerbase are grown up but 90% of the posts here are useless or childish idiot bragging how good he or his corp is or bad trolls and hypocripts which is pathetic and sad at the same time.

This is my first and last post here and i have been in this beta since Replica i read the forums all the time but its time to leave so I decided to give my 2 cent while at it.

Sorry CCP your game has potential but the development went up and down a cycle of good build then a bad one and i got bored and tired of it also your community doesn't promote a good gaming environment to enjoy playing with anyway nothing of that matter now though i wish you the best goodbye.

Sadly this community is the norm among online games. It's the nature of the beast when you have a bunch of socially inept and highly opinionated gamers/geeks in one place.

well, i don't agree. I found the former MAG community much better that this. I'm just keepin in touch with 'em and even if they're in other corps (even "enemies") it's not a problem. Still playing togheter for fun, and still playing togheter because we know each others and we know our skills from other games. This game just puts a limit to your personal skills ( and it's fair enough imo) and people with better gear feel theirselves free to qq you. Maybe it's just problem of this community.

If you think the Dust 514 forums are bad enough, you obviously never saw the Eve Online forums. That place is much worse if you show any sign of weakness. It's been said that 4chan is nothing compared to the Eve Forums.

If you ever try to post on the EVE forums, General Discussion is like a aquarium filled with sharks crossbred with trolls. Any evidence of an opinion is immediately met with extreme prejudice to determine if the offender cares. You are automatically assumed to be an alt of someone they don't like and by the way, you're a moron.

In case it isn't clear. Don't go there expecting anything resembling a civil or intelligent discussion.

Tbh I expect the DUST forums to get worse when they open the beta. The QQ will reach Everest proportions from people who won't like the game. New Eden is known to be a savage place and the game structure won't appeal to a lot of console gamers that play mainstream FPS.
