I ain't scurred of your flux 'nades.I know this doesn't seem to make any sense, but I'm more afraid of laser rifles than flux grenades.Maybe it's because there are far less people running with flux than lasers. |

In the last build, I don't know if this is true. Flux grenades does not only damage your shields but suppresses regulators for certain time. |

I've been using flux grenades with an assault mass driver lately. Large groups of red dots are something I actually want to run in to with that combo. |

I liked that flux did minor armor damage if shields were depleted, from two builds ago. |

And yea I think they affect regulators as it seems when the shields go down they always stay down. |

Lies, they can solo a heavy just not as easily as other classes, but it can be done.
Now a good heavy perhaps not, but most heavies in this game arent very good and tend to be a bit overconfident when 1v1. |

Yes flux don't simply effect shields, they disturb all electronics within the field, so they will instantly destroy hives, uplinks, not sure about RE's though they might interfere with a person's ability to set them off. They should temporarily disable regulators and other devices that are speced into from circuitry and nanocircuitry but cant say that with absolute certainty. |

Flux grenades remove shields, while locus grenades either kill or take a chunk out of armor too. Which do you suppose is better? |

Any thing that takes down your sheilds in one shot puts on extra delay time to the shield regen time, this is still true for this build. |

This. Your shields regen faster when not completely depleted. it's actually listed in the dropsuit stats under attributes. |

Flux also have a bubble shape wave that is able to get you from behind cover, add this with a good MD and you get doubles and triples all day.
Yes they destroy REs and they do make your regulator obsolete for a good period if completely drained.
Flux are great for groups of people and area denial. Love seeing a pack of reds scatter because all of a sudden they have no shields and MD rounds are being lobbed into their mist.
All the proto people stack shields or damage mods, they like mobility and if you take their shields in an instant they are either easy pickings or hi-tail it outta there, usually the later. |

Also they double as AV nades, as most vehicles are shield tanked. Get these on top of any tank and they def. know some one is about. I run these with my swarm load-out just for taking shields down, throw down hive, throw as many nades as I can or is needed and then lock-on with 2x damage proto swarm. |

Flux grenades have a HUGE radius, and drop up to 1200 shield hp, making it effective on shield tanks. More versatile imo, and if you couple it with a mass driver, you have a massive force against large groups of infantry. And you can kill tanks. |

Flux's and a decent SMG build make for intresting kills :) Its a great combo to have for a swarm launcher or sniper for example, increases your chances for close range.
Plus Flux grenades love enemy sheild tanks :). |

I've fitted them cos I could see how useful they are ... just wish I could throw them straight ... always had a problem with nades in FPS ... just can't use them ... and button mapping on keyboard doesn't help ... not somewhere you can naturally maintain movement while throwing them. |
