Ive seen posts stating that the current beta build is the final build before full release.
2 questions:
1) Did they miss a load out of this patch or something?
2) Does anyone else think if the game is released fully the way it is, it's going to be dead in the water? |

This is last build before open beta, and presumeably move to TQ(tranquality) when going to open beta, so nope this isn't 'final build'.
And also one thing to keep in mind is that there are confusion what is considered 'final build', since the consept CCP is bringing into console games is that there isn't sequels to this game, but aditional content patches regulary so that in mind there is no 'final build'. |

Comander Wang has said this is it until move to TQ and open beta (same time) I assume from open beta there will be modifications done until commercial release maybe even kick us off from the servers until commercial release. |

After Chromosome will be open beta, so we have at least one more build to go.
EDIT: There will probably be an update after open beta also. |

Open beta they should hold off on tbh
In this current state its not going to do it any favours unless the next build is fantastic and the majority of balance issues are fixed and everything has its place and use but i highly doubt it tbh |

Final before open beta, not full release. Full release is rumored to be this summer.
One additional note:
CCP said or at least implied that DUST will be iterated and will built up in content and gameplay over the years as they already have a 5-10 year plan for the game just to see how it goes. Eve Online already surpassed nine years with of iterations since its release in 2003. No costly expansions, and everyone benefits. They hope to achieve the same for DUST. |

There is an old saying in Eve Online.
You will never know how something goes unless you put it through the ultimate test. That means going to tranquillity where everything is complex, heavy populated, and the server is at its most optimal. |
