Save that crap for BF3 thank you. Just had some idiot revive me 4 times in a row into gunfire, and I sat there and wondered why? To get a few points? You're delaying spawn time for a player for you to get some points? So while I was being revived over and over, the objective behind me was being taken.
Instead of spawning in on time to do something about it, I sat there looking at the enemy taking the last spawn point. GG blueberries. |

What are you doing like Christ on the floor toast, stop waiting. Spawn in. Most likely a heal wont give you full health anyway. |

This is why I always press the respawn button as quickly as humanly possible. Only time I deviate from that is if I know there is a competent reviver nearby that knows if its ok to revive or not, and also armor reps. |

I don't think we get points for consecutive revives.
And besides, not everyone understands the logibro dilemma. Either revive sparingly and stay alive and risk your reputation in the eyes of most your team, or revive copiously and die a lot but look like you're trying. To find a balance is what the best of us can easily do, but the art of logistics requires patience to learn. I for one definitely cannot wait for my squad sometimes and dash out to grab objectives because my team is occupied getting kills only to find myself isolated and useless when an enemy assault lumbers in to stop me.
Sometimes we only see the triage unit nearby and die thinking they ignored us. Sometimes we request for help and die thinking they ignored us.
Even I, a loginoob in training, have done it. I get frustrated when I assume I'm safe and no one helps me and I forget tht when your face is in the dust you can see much less than those above and around me.
We either get complaints that we ignore downed teams or complaints that we revive too much. The life of a logibro is a quest for that balance between both. |

I don't think the decision to revive is any different than the decision to cap an objective without checking every corner for a red dot.
Some people instinctively take the risk or don't. Some people can't help but try to achieve team goals. Some are more conservative. I'll take the risk takers 8 days a week. |

And yet if that guy had left you and you knew he had the ability to revive you, I bet you would be here making a complaint thread as well. |

It probably also helps if im not in your squad and if im not in a squad to be in team chat. Its a two way street sometimes, if you can communicate to me details, like how u died, CQC, sniper, heavy. I can better assess the likelihood of threats in your area.
I mean as a logi, I have often dashed across 50m of enemy fire, checked my corners and done everything i can, only to find the player just saying screw it i'll respawn noone is coming, and no they didnt just bleed out.
But also sometimes you have to trust your logi's, sometimes ill rev you in enemy fire if i know my buddies behind me are providing covering fire, i will rev u and instantly switch to repair tool and you are nearlly fully repped by the time you are standing, at which point i need you to jump and be moving toward cover as quick as possible. |

A good logi clears the body of hostiles before even thinking of reviving.
Should think yourself lucky people aren't working together on opposite teams one kills medic revives red kills again, over and over, had that happen a few times in BF2 and the only way to get out of the cycle was to quit the match. |

I like being res. but for god's sake don't pick me up with a crap needle. I want to be able to get up and fight not get picked up and immediately dropped. Have a few logis in our corp that run 80% injector. You get up and are able to do something not pray that a stray bullet hits you while you run for cover, going "Oh sh*t! Oh sh*t!"
But as a MD user I love the medics that pick people up with barely any armor, I usually get a double kill from those sorry bastards, one for the medic and one for the patient. |

Yesterday I died surrounded by a group of enemies with, to my knowledge, no friendlies at all around me. Now some prick logi somehow ran through the group of red dots, untouched, just to rezz me back into gunfire.

Sometimes when i check for hostiles and red dots before a rez i miss something, and the poor soldier dies twice, usually followed by my death, but i cant imagine rezzing someone 4 times under fire. I think I've only rezzed someone twice and had them die again is because i thought someone shoot the annoying sniper that was camping that spot. |
