Didn't notice many changes that really improved gameplay, and the framerate is still so poor that the game is unplayable. Vehicle physics aren't that much different, dropships still have a flight ceiling, still not getting into a game and saying "oh wow, this game is fun!". The iron sights on weapons are cool, but that doesn't really have a huge impact on anything.
I'm once again waiting for the next build. |

Um this build has been a huge improvement for stability frame rate and fluidity of the game i wonder is it a region thing?

It gets really jerky for me too, it's like they are leaving frames out of animations purposely or somethibg |

Framerate is fine for most of us, and connection lag is minimal, even for my internet, which is saying something. |

Tried to play again this evening still couldn't hit the side of a barn due to mini freezes and wild aim acceleration , haveing to put an entire clip into some one just to take out there shield (yes i burst fire) whilst they took me out with what seemed like eight shots.
Ive lost all the enthusiasm I had for the game in the last 2 builds, when I read the forums and people post how they do this and how much fun they are haveing I wonder if I am playing the same game as I am getting 0 fun or enjoyment more frustration tbh.
I havn't seen much improvement the way others say they have, I guess my dust days are about at an end all I keep hearing is this will be implemented soon for a game thats been in developement for 4 or more years and being tested in one way or another for at least 18 months it just dosnt seem right
Edit
What ever happened to the large scale battles? should'nt this be tested now instead of the low player count we have, I realy don't believe they can add many more players or they would have by now. |

Call in an LAV and squish some blueberries. Makes you smile, albeit guiltily, all the time.
If you want a venting method which doesn't involve floods of hate mail ( I send hate mail with caps lock and lots of profanity ), get a mic and troll with your squad. I'm talking redline sniping, roleplaying as a seasoned war colonel protecting that CRU deep in enemy territory, getting a four man forge gunner group happening, four man mass driver squad, four man heavy, three logis and one heavy. Many ways to extricate a laugh in the dull, dreary, dusty maps.
The best ones come from vehicles though, like the one with LAVs. Gliding along the floor with a dropship looks and feels amazing and people will by dying to get your autograph, even after you crash and both arms are on the other side of the hills.
Do some burnouts with your LAV. Pretend to let people in but drive off at last moment with LAV. Steal someone's fully geared HAV. Drive drunkenly around map with LAV and draw enemy fire.
Flatten people with DS. Smash into people with DS. Get destroyed in the air, hop out and hulk smash into ground like a boss with your DS in flaming ruins lighting the scene.
Although when you tally it up, the ISK hit might be a bit pricey. |

Take deep calming breaths. Now stand just on that ridge. Yes, that is the one. Hold your breath cause you are going to be sooo relaxed.
Here it comes.

It has been dramatically better for me. I only get lagging or chugging when the entire map is a fire fight. If the HAVs are running around it actually settles the display down. Maybe because they don't shoot as many bullets as we trigger happy Grunts.
There are a couple of things that are obviously off. Missile turrets being first that come to mind. But Chromosome has been a big improvement for me. |

In my case, the stability was awesome in E3, decent at the beginning of Precursor, terrible at the end of Precursor, (Edit: I forgot about codex, stability sucked in that too) and worse with whatever this build is called. I cant aim with DS3 or KBM due to the frame rate and the random bouncyness of the aiming. Mouse smoothing helps with the bouncyness, but then I can't even turn my character at 5700DPI due to the massive sensitivity reduction.
While I'm talking about sensitivity, I would like to say that the turn speed reduction for ADS is rather obscure, and far to extreme; a 15% - 25% turn speed reduction would make sense (variable based on weapon) but this 50% - 75% reduction thing is outright obscene. How can you expect to shoot something if you cannot track the target? |

jerkiness, check borked frame rate, check mind you, this affects shooting at any range, thus turning getting a kill into nothing but guess work. which brought me to think of this: story has it that the Unreal engine was made for Doom, or viceversa. whichever the case, Doom itself was designed as an indoor shooter. so, if what we're are looking at here is a technical limitation of the Unreal engine itself, well.. guess we're doomed. pun completely intended. if anyone can elaborate on this conjecture of mine, by all means, please do

I was wondering this too. Are 16 vs 16 battles as high as this game can go? (I'm talking about in the forseeable future around release, not the imaginary fantasy land of "someday" or "soon".)
Also, for me frame rate is poor at this stage, true, but only becomes unplayable while driving in a vehicle. |

i like how the game runs smoother than last build , but think that is because they swept the problem under the rug. Where as last build the freeze was there to line you up with another player like a refresh for maximum combat. This build they just shut that off for smoother game play. A lot of ghosting is happening and things not rendering at the time there supposed to. I have walked around nanohives for over a min in till they have appear out of no where. You can still run into a empty room and a sec later there is actually 3 enemies in that room and instant dead.
the devil is in the details and it seems CCP has the macro but not the micro figured out. |

As a logibro - I'm loving this build - finally got my triage points back and they added a guardian point gain too. YES!!! The last build I didn't really play that much because it was missing points for healing, and I felt shafted when they took those points away. Now I can play my role and get the points I deserve for doing so. |
