This idea came from when I played another game with the AN-94. The idea of the AN-94 stayed with
me. It's the one that I remember.
This would be sort of like the tacticle AR cross with a Burst type AR, and a sniper.. :) for the purpose
of this thread I will call it 'XGUN-94'
Burst - 2 shots - short interval between bursts - Recoil: Low when kept controlled(not constant bursting) - Recoil: 1st shot of the two shot burst has very little recoil - The idea is you would be able to hit two shots in the same spot.
additional info: - comparison to: Tacticle, burst, & Sniper.
[Tact]: has more recoil then tacticle when shot repidly, but does more damage per shot.
[Burst]: Only has 2 shot burst, More recoil when shot repidly, but more damage per shot.
[Sniper]: As they both made for accurate shooting, The XGUN-94 would be more for controlling
distance, gaining a better position on the battlefield, and advancing. The XGUN-94 can still hold its
own in close combat but keeping your fire controlled/accurate is key.
OTHER INFO/AMMO TYPES/Just some ideas..)
XGUN-94 'Crippler' : Dual Ammo Type in one ammo case: INFO: 1st shot(of burst) cripples with a
sort of gas?/microscopic swarm drones. Cripple Time: 'X'-Amount / Enemy cannont jump while
crippled. 2nd shot of burst fire: Full damage ammo type.
XGUN-94 'Shield-Kitten' : Dual Ammo Type in one ammo case: INFO: 1st shot(of burst):
Penetrates shield /X amount-Dmg, disables shield regen for x-amount of time. 2nd shot of burst: full
damage.
XGUN-94 ((standard)) 2 shot burst, read above stuff for more info on recoil and 2nd shot accuracy.

if you're an expert on the AN-94, know more about it and want to add to this, please do.

oh, and the idea of the XGUN-94 is, You'd have to be a SKILLED player to use it, someone who has
good positional awareness, doesn't always rush in. Constant shooting/spraying with this gun will most
likely get you killed, It's more about the 2 shot burst, aim for the head type thing. anyways.. Hope this
might of helped you think about some ideas too : ) My guess is this gun would be OP due to crippling
or some crap, but maybe crippling wouldn't stack, say you get crippled and can't be crippled again
until later. as for the shield kitten lol, people would probly say that's OP too, but there could be a
counter to the no-shield regen, like little drones that transfer shield over or something...... Good night.

The an-94 fire the first 2 rounds at 1800rpm, and if on full auto later rounds at 600rpm. The gun action and magazine recoil together, so the recoil doesn't make the gun kick till after the 2nd bullet has left the barrel.
Simplest way to implement this would be to have a breach ar like rate of fire, but first bullet in burst does double damage, double recoil and uses two rounds. This would make the weapon do more damage with short bursts if the 1rst round hits, walking rounds to target would not work well as tapping trigger like it was semi-auto. Optimal use of weapon would be somebody that can fire rapid aimed 2-3 round bursts by removing finger quickly. |

The burst/recoiling function - I love it. Simply by changing your fire mode, that design of gun can adapt to almost any engagement type, aside from shotgun-knife range. As for the racial type, I can only see this happening with ballistic weapons, so it would have to be a Matari design. |
