Which is not a big deal at all. Except it was my first actual survival. Tanking is a tough business. I even had a couple of gunners jump on board, be helpful and we had infantry support too. Took a couple of swarm hits, moved and got shields back, got another hit, recovered again, held C and D in the line, messed up some materiel, did in some red berries and wound up on the winning side. My HAV was still alive and it felt good.
Baby steps but steps none the less. Someday I will get the rest of this going. You know: the mic, the corp and a real squad. Soon enough. At least the first couple of tanks I lost taught me to check out the battle and its map before just having it dropped off.
Thanks for the posts from the various HAV drivers. No thanks for all the QQ that nerfed my beautiful rail gun.  You'll get yours cause I am gonna get big missile turrets. Hopefully before they nerf those.
Really looking forward to having a Drop Ship survive both my piloting and the red berries. That is for another day. |

I wouldn't waste any money on Large Missile Turrets. Their damage is find but they're travel speed and splash are pretty bad atm.

Keep the faith. Money is not a real issue. Just keep plugging away at the battles. Once I can use the expensive salvage I have then I will change my mind, quickly. Large missile turrets are a lot of SP away at the moment. It would be better if I didn't have to bump up all these other non-HAV/DS items but a driver/pilot has to live outside the box from time to time. For newer ones (like myself) that is more often than not.

Stick with rail or go blaster. Missiles suffer from random missile spread. There's enough things for a tanker to have to deal with, inconsistent turrets will do you too much harm than good. |

Missiles were already nerfed into uselessness, don't use them. Nice going with that militia tank. |
