Most of the time I am still struggling to get the menu selection bar to quit sliding to the top of the screen.
What is the menu system you are using? Unreal Engine I understand but the menu might be provided by someone else. The reason I ask is this is the only game I have ever played on any console that has consistently had this problem. I set the move (which I will not own) controls to zero, already had the x/y ratios set to reasonable numbers and Chromosome still has the problem. It is not nearly as bad as before this release but seriously not one other game ever has displayed this problem. Before this release I would routinely give up on playing as fighting your menus was not worth the trouble.
Please, ask around. Find an answer.

Having heard nothing so far I stumbled across something on my own. 
I was going to switch from my DualAxis 3 Controller to my Six Axis Controller but I had not used the other in some time. So I plugged it in to a USB cable and it self selected as Controller 2. The switch was because I was going to clean the Dual Shock in case that was the cause for some of my button actions happening for no reason. It was worth a test.
Devs, you know that bug that I have been bugging you about? This whole broken Menu thing? If not, see above ^^^, well if I thought it was better but still broken, plug in a second controller. The game became totally broken. The menu slider in the Market, Drop Suit Fit and Vehicle Fits moved to the top so fast I could not catch it. I could send it to the bottom but if that or the top wasn't what I needed then tough Kittens.
Unplugged the charging controller, then told the PS3 to turn off that controller and Voila! Back to not correct but not broken as bad as the last release. And way, way better then the earlier ones. Usable but not shippable.
This must be connected to the Move/Controller input handler.
I have an older Fat PS3, 2 USB ports, not backward compatible, drive that has been upgraded to 320GB 5400 RPM.
I do not have a Move controller.
I do have stock, as issued by Sony, a DualShock 3 Controller and the SixAxis as well.
The DualShock 3 is my normal controller.
Oddly enough, the outer menu does not seem to display these issues currently. I cannot go back a release to verify it and do not recall frankly.
