So I'm not new here. But I want to start Logistics, in this game, I feel I'd do much better reviving, supplying, hacking, and defending myself then going on the front lines and killing. Right now I'm an Assault class and have wasted tons of SP. I mainly use ARs but I've put SP into forge guns, laser rifles, corporation management, and piloting. I don't even use those, I just tried them.
My question is, I want a whole plan out. What do I put SP into? Hacking, Mechanics, Nanocircuitry, ARs, SMG, etc.....
Just give me a list of what all I should put SP into, combat skills and non-combat skills, everything.
Thanks for the help. |

https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=37131&find=unread As per the title, a compendium of awesome guides. Includes one for medical logistics. It's great.

Personal advice? Put sp into getting the a logistics drop suit, then the basic revival jabber and repairer. Nanohives too if you like. Then if you squad with a heavy put your modules on shields and shield regeneration. If not, spec a little more on your weapon so you can assist with the damage output. |

Personal advice:
- Get very good at switching between your equipment. By that i mean when you hold down R2 during a battle to bring up the equip wheel and then using the Right Analog to select things. The faster you can change out what your doing the better.
- If a blueberry is running away from you when your trying to heal them, because they've mistaken your Repair tool for a lunchbox containing everything they don't like and proceed to run in fear from it (<-- the only possible explanation) i find if you shoot them in the back, and then switch to your repair tool, that they either turn around and shoot at you because they still don't realize WHY you shot at them, or that they realize you have a repair tool and proceed to stand still until they are repped. In either case they still stop running and you get points :D
- Unless your rolling in a squad where another member is a Triage Unit, then treat your own life like it's the most important one on the battlefield. If they go down, you can pick them up. If YOU go down they can't do crap about it and may die because your not there to rep them.
If i think of more advice later i'll be sure to post again.
Keep the faith. |

for OPs situation I would just skill into type 1 logistics suits and use the modules/weapons you have already skilled into. Then put militial equipment in the equipment slots until you get those skilled up. That will get you a decent logistics setup for the minimum initial SP investment.
Assault dropsuit and sidearm skill training are probably the only skills that wont carry over and benefit a logistics role. |
