So, yeah ever just want a guy dead while playing, but having trouble with that objective while trying to still focus on the real objectives? Solution and also added perk of the on going wars (war room) Have bounties that can be placed on a merc. Either the CEO of a corp can mark an adversary for death or an individual merc can mark an opponent on the opposing team of a battle, perhaps squad like orders, for an added bonus payment from merc to merc after the battle. The CEO option sets up maybe a time frame in which if a merc kills the marked merc, he or she gets a reward. I don't know how all this works in EVE, but I figure this could be transitioned into DUST514.
Oh yeah and don't forget those alliance options! https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=45921&find=unread

this is a great idea really dig this one but they should make it similar to the bounty system in eve!!!!!!! do a friendly fire and you become a suspect and a very short timer of open fire (cus you dont want them dying lets not have it as strict [or persay.. merciless] in eve in dust PLEASE) and when they keep on trying to shoot u and chase u down and be retards then they should be CRIMINALS and you would be allowed to kill them!
mabey the system would have to change to allow for damage to be done by friendly for this system to be implemented in a global scale and at the same time would prevent such activity, and add a gameplay mechanic for those who want to betray or just be general **** disturbers, or be double agents, theres some cool ideaas there. |

It works in an open-ended game like EVE.
It does not work in an FPS where you spend most of your time fighting or relaxing in your quarters.
It wouldn't give anyone an opportunity to bounty hunt, and everyone is already hunted. |

Bounties should extend into Dust. The extra pay should be used to encourage other people to do work for you. |

Really not sure it would work in Dust 514. We could assassinate marked EVE players while they are walking about stations. If the features are ever implemented. All kinds of wizardry needed to get something like that working. |

I'm shocked by the amount of people who think bounties would work in a game where all you do is fight anyway. What if your enemy is marked? Well, you were going to kill him anyway, so it doesn't matter. What if your ally is marked? Now that's a difficult choice. Until Dust is open-ended, which I doubt will happen anytime soon, a bounty system simply wouldn't work. |
