requesting a skill level 1 heavy bpo to somewhat offset the comparatively insane costs of kitting a heavy dropsuit.
A heavy type II plus a level 3 hmg costs 55,000 ISK roughly per dropsuit if everything else on the suit is a militia bpo module. Heavies require some form of cost reduction if nothing else in order to feed the constant need to replace suits.
I agree that the suits can be worth a 55k pricetag, if you could equip a full setup of decent modules for that 55k.
We shall see what comes of it. I would even suggest making the aurum cost of a heavy bpo be 12,000 if the current disparity of price must be maintained.
I also suggest making the bpo have one high slot, two lows rather than the reverse. |

I think vehicle pilots would have a fit over players only risking the cost of a forge gun to take out their tank/dropship (and I could understand their anger). Personally I wouldn't mind and would probably buy one, but I don't use vehicles.
Vehicle (HAV) pilots who die to solo heavies with a single forge gun are idiots.
because they sit still and expect heavies to be pop up dummies that egress from cover to shoot the same way every time |

LAVs as portable fixed turrets isn't a workable option, they have to keep moving and use cover just like dropsuits.
Working as intended.
Av weapons are more accurately described as anti-tank |

You funny human. hilarious even.
Militia grade fatsuits considered anything but a sick joke in a serious fight against anyone with a gek is smoking good weed. quit stealing my stash.
Every other class gets a level 1 bpo. btw the valor suit is better than dragonfly.
Heavies should get a level 1 fatsuit. id also cheerily trade out the militia forge for militia hmg if real forges got a damage buff.
Make the militia hmg have 1/4th less ammo and 1 damage less per bullet. Militia suits would get toasted but anyone with a real isk suit would have a good escape chance. |

Secondforge guns are trash they only work on sub grade tanks today 5 proto forge guns couldn't kill one proto tank and i get a message get good scrub how powerful are you going to make the tanks everyone get tanks wait that's already been done with world of tanks. Third show me why the proto type hevy is worth over 200000k isk? It's got the least amount of slots than any of the 4 classes, so drop the damage then the armour now jack up the price lol good god man what are you going to do about the snipers and assault o yeah you took the scope away ccp im dissapointed go with the masses you should have nerfes nothing this what happened to mag crybabys saying that weapon does too much damage it's a heavy for a reason, now it's just a over sized sub machingun. And we need a back pack instead of a clip. ur telling me 5 proto forges which do at least 2000 damage to shields (minimum) could not kill one proto tank? U sure it wasn't an operator error. i don't know of any tank that can do that. Of course i'm probably wrong about tht. Was he camping the whole game or wat? The highest you can make a HAV have without severly limiting it is about 8k eHP, witch is about 2-4 proto forge gun shots if it isn't very specialized into it. If it is, then it's a 1 shot. Thing is, it's way less sp to max out a forge gun kit than max out on a weak HAV.
And the best defense for hav is coaxial and secondary turret gunners. if you dont have those dont bring in an hav, then ***** when i forgewhomp you solo.
Havs need point defense. |

Last I checked the dragonfly was identical to the type-I scout, but without skill requirements. So, the valor scout should be identical, other then colour may blend better on some maps.
Nope i have the valor and dragonfly.
Valor is notably the superior of the two. worth the aur cost if you want to fly recon. itll accept fits the dragonfly cries over because of better cpu/pg. better shields and armor too if I recall.
PS: Valor requires gallente scoutsuit level 1. dragonfly is pretty much a militia grade freebie. |
