So when are they going to stop the infinite spawn of lavs? This is trash losing expinsive heavys to lavs i mean that's why i won't go poto on my heavy, they should do them like the tank make it 70k in isk in militia fit. |

Basic LAVs are weak. One swarm volley is usually enough to destroy them. Your heavy is (or should be) extremely capable of destroying them too. If you don't want to be ran over, you need to judge bettter where you walk.
There are a bunch of other free things with blueprints for weapons, grenades, modules, dropsuits, etc.. That we get a blueprint for the most basic transport makes sense. |

as a heavy, are you not supposed to be in the lav and jump out next to enemies? |

I agree, Free LAV's is a terrible idea, if people want battlefield mobility make them pay for it. |

Just remove the starter fits- those are the biggest problem. There are no LAV BPOs on the market, and whatever starter fit you get depends on your race- taking away these starter fits removes the "vehicle influence" on your race (such as people choosing caldari solely because onikuma starter fits are a better taxi than baloch starter fits).
It would also help the people who spec into LAVs and dropships more; it's way too common for people to ignore whatever well-fitted vehicle I'm driving, so they can call in their own starter fit and get blown up. Probably also fixes all the instances when people assume my EXTREMELY well-fitted methana is just a starter fit baloch, since it looks the same. |

I carry packed AV grenades on my heavy at all times and look both ways before crossing a street. One packed AV will take out a free LAV, two will take out a fitted one. It's one of the easiest kills in the game, so please leave them in. I love popping a LAV with two or more clones in it. |

Walking anywhere open enough for an lav to splat you is always a risk for a heavy. LAVs are the least concern now that snipers are invisible and lasers can melt your face. |

As i allready told to the imperfects: "allright little children you better look left and right before crossing the road or you will get run over." If you see LAV's just carry Av grenades. That should do it as self defence against them. |

Free LAVs should stay, just like free starter fits should stay. Its needed as a means to try things without ISK or SP investment. There needs to be a free basic transportation option for newbs get to objectives, especially when maps get really big.
It would be more sensible to just make LAVs take collision damage from hitting dropsuits, and hitting heavies cause the mpst damage to LAVs. Changes could also be made to make heavies take 2 hits from a LAV to be killed instead of just 1.
Like others have said, they are extremely easy to take down, and can generally be avoided if you are careful where you traverse. |

Uh no, please CCP remove this stupid crutch, to many blues calling in an LAV with every clone either eating up the clone bank in their wheeled coffin or wasting effort and time driving around to run people over. This is not productive and does not encourage learning to play the game effectively.
Militia gear is still dirt cheap if they wan't to play with vehicles without spending SP.
