Mercs may harvest up to 3 christmas noobs per year in Skirmish or Ambush (one each during the AR, LR, and MD seasons). However, no more than 2 christmas noobs (total) may be taken in ambush with any combination of tanks, dropships, or LAVs.

Went 33/0 Christmas night against a group of almost all npc corps and in a random skirmish. Only 2 other players made it into double digits and the highest was 17 kills. It felt wrong somehow like taking candy from a young child. |

Unlike the newest COD game, I can't imagine there being any noticeable difference in the games population due to Christmas. Remember, the game is still a beta, therefore parents aren't picking up the game off the shelf and giving it to their kids.
Now perhaps there might have been a small jump in merc pack purchases since many people probably got PSN cards, but it is likely negligible. |

new PS3 models comes with DUST...or Uncharted 3. So you will see a little rise in player count. |
