I just don't understand why we are stuck between the two.
If people are maxing out the weekly cap in 3 or 4 days, then why not make a 3 or 4 day cap, the same as the weekly one, but it would reset in half the time.
Or is there some technical reason this can't be done? |

the whole point of the cap is to keep hardcore players from getting too far ahead of the more casual ones, personally i cap out at around 500k sp after three days of hard playing. If the cap reset happened on a four day cycle then there might as well be no cap at all.
Its annoying how the last 4 days of the week are 100 sp gains per game and i do think they need to shorten the cap a little bit, but imagine how far ahead people who ALREADY have proto gear would be?? it would be insane! so personally im glad theres something that slows them down a little bit.

agreed, the cap can be a royal pain; but it is nice now compared to E3 build, where u've have to play a good 4-6hours a day at a minimum to stay SP competitive. Where now you dont need to worry that you didn't get on for 3-4 days; as you can grind out your SP fri-mon |

let the sp go from friday to friday
I feel like I'm being throttled... similar to a Cell phone data plan where if you go past 2.5 GB you get less than half you internet speed "throttling"
yet the only post i can find from a developer about what kind a cap it is, is from cmdr wang
i found a few GM posts saying its working as expected
but yet I make less than the weekly cap it feels like... |
