I'm in contact with CCP support about this, and they say this problem is unique to my system. My PS3 is connected to the net and I can play other online games. For me this is the equivalent of getting addicted to a game, then finding the disc broken in half. Except the main difference is I can't go and buy a new disc at the store. Why might this be important to you? Well, I'm expecting to hear from CCP that I will have to re-install the game. I might be wrong about that. I also expect that I will lose my character progess. Again just a guess. But if any of this is true, I don't think I can commit to the official game release if something like this can occur. If my progress can be saved, then I'll stick around. I was not going to post about what seems like a rare individual problem. The CCP support team started problem solving in helpful way, but I have not heard from them in 5 days, after providing them with my PS3 model details. Most players won't care that I can't play. But some might care that this can happen to them at some point. If I could play right now, I wouldn't complain about a single thing in the new build. That's how much I miss Dust.

It will make your game run faster just to begin with, and as long as you internet is decent and you got your ps3 plugged into your modem it should be pretty quick to download like maybe two hours to get to playing agian.

I have done many things to figure it out but to no avail. I have decided to erase and reload program as this is all I have left to do to fix this problem. Also just delete your game then go to PS store and select resent downloads. your beta should be shown as recent download edit: or go into account management and you can find you recent downloads there, i dont know the exact directions but if you go into account management it should be obvious.

Iron Wolf Saber BetaMax. 2866	Posted - 2012.12.24 20:47:00 - [9] - Quote There is not a whole lot saved client side, not even custom controls are suggested to be saved client side (though its odd going to a second ps3 doesn't seem to xfer the controls over. Persona Server handles all personal information, another handles inventory, and another handles market, another for eve star ships (sol node), thoughput server api/crest (adam I think its called) and I guess one more for dust 514 battles only.

Heck I had a mic issue for months that turned out to be an issue with my router firmware. Once I changed the firmware I have been able to talk online ever since. Do what has been suggested and try deleting and redling the game.

Updated my router, tried both wifi and Ethernet connection . Reset all modems routers and system. And still cannot get it to download and reinstall?

I had issues with the 'corrupt data' message last night, after some very helpful tips from this awesome community I was advised to delete the game save data as well as the client, and it worked. it turned out that the game save data was not compatible with the new build for some reason, even the landscape image from the game save data was from codex. So it was conflicting with the game data and causing the corrupt data. Delete the game save data bro.
