Im really sorry to say this dust, but I just looked at that gameplay graphics and play wise and I just.. melted, and I look back to this game I go, wow were stuck in ps2 graphics..
I know their two different games but... im sorry guys.. I gave in to bf3..
I apologise, as much as I love dust and I support you guys, its a game ive been wanting to play for a long time.
I gotta go offline for a while, if I miss any events, its ok I dont need them anyways, im about to unlock the proto tanks anyways.. thats all i wanted was an HAV I could call my own.
so heres to the proto hav's and heres to me saying im sorry... |

its not a habit, its just im trying to be as devote as possible and give CCP the support they need in terms of playing every singe ******* day of my life at 17-20 hours a day. |

Played a few rounds on PC, if you're not playing it on PC you're not really playing BF3, and the new aftermath levels! OMG if dust could get buildings and streets and the different heights to the scale BF3 does that would be wonderful! Don't need distruction, I just like the scale of the game, everything feels like its the right size.

Fair nuff - enjoy your fancy new game. Just remember that this is still well in beta and has a long way to go before release, at which point it could well have the awesome shiny graphics you so love and seem to need in order to continue just testing a game.
I really wish people would realise what a game in beta testing is and stop comparing it to finished products as if it's never going to be as good. |

oh bf3, fun times.
Never want to go back to that. at least on ps3.
Dice did a terrible job with that game, they recently fixed the input lag. 13 MONTHS after release. Kinda of a key feature in a fps.
Competitive support was 0,00. It was all community based and even then it was impossible to get some good matches going.
patches came with every dlc, so like 3-4 months. if there was a new glitch or op weapon you will get killed by it for 4 months.
Glad to leave that behind. |

For me, artstyle > graphics. Graphics are only as good as the things they depict, and if its just some boring Middle East warzone, or something else like that, then its a waste of graphics. |

No, you misunderstand - we bash people who think the reasons for leaving are important enough to broadcast to everyone and that anyone would care that they are leaving, whilst most of the time the reasons they give are nonsensical (i.e. the graphics are not as good as full released shiny games) and no one cares that they're leaving. |

BF3 is a fun game and the tanks are balanced
*and here comes the "but"*
BUT after a month or two, there's nothing left. You play just to say you're a level 100 or you get bored and go after dogtags for every gun. The games are meaningless unless you're in a clan battle. Aim assist is on high, all the guns does the same damage. Recoil destroys the long distance game. 12v12 on the large maps are extremely stale and boring at times. The maps are designed really well and the movements are smooth as well.
I really don't care if Dust's graphics are never on the same level as BF3. You're going to have to give something to get all that we're going to have on Dust. Each game will mean something, each map will feel different, you don't get one-shotted by an AR. 1v1s in dust are awesome....should I continue |

Premium is a con tbh and also the vehicles have been patched alot and are now crap tbh, you think our HAVs are bad and tbh they still are but you will get pissed when your in a tank and it gets instant disabled from 1 hit and your like at 30% health and dropping meaning the next shot your dead
Helis are fun or used to be fun now 1 stinger and its gone
Jets remain unchanged mostly so its fun dog fighting at least
Overall BF3 too big on console half the time, vehicles mostly useless and foregrip adds recoil |
