Will Dust will be used to gain sov in null sec? To me that would be the manifestation of Dust. Got to have boots on the ground to turn Sov. Enslave the weak! Do away will sov timers and all that garbage. Must hold key planets to have sov in nullsec and FW.

Maybe, and maybe not. It would make sov even more of a mess then it is now though. It's already complex enough. |

Yep, that would pretty much **** off and alienate every sov holding corp in EVE and create a huge 200+ pages threadgnought. Because in that case those capsuleer couldn't them selfs affect the sov changes in any means. Other than throw of ISK and hope that the DUST corp / players are as good as they claim or that they wont turn their coats and run with the money.
I'm pretty certain that planetary sov at best influences the system sov.

Nope. Dust has been said to have no effect on space sov, just like space sov will have no effect on us holding planets. However, if you and the EVE guys in space work together, the system will provide bonuses for both sides. So only good things come of the link, not bad ones. |

It will boost space and ground sov perks if they're both the same, but they will not penalize each other. |

2. If what you suggest happened, Dust and EVE would both be dead and CCP would be bust within 18 months. |

Faster?
There is a crap ton of planets in some of the systems, so fast isn't a option. Or otherwise there would be only few planets that are the key planets per system.
Only way that this 'key planets' aproach would make sence if there would be some kind of sov claim installation that DUST side players needed to plant on a planet and then that installation made that planet that 'key planet' |

good point maybe eve pilots setup like some type of orbital thing that makes it a warzone then dust mercs do one battle and like the defenders have to protect like an orbital defense cannon and attackers have to destroy before it charges and takes out the orbital thing. get what im saying?
