This thread is dedicated to that little sniper tower on one of the newer maps. It's just a small little tower with a ladder and a pillbox thing at the top. Coolest little installation in the game right there.

It's cute but totally pointless as a sniper nest given it's placement on the map. Of course if it were on top of a mountain it would be a instant counter-sniper magnet (death trap) so I guess it's pointless regardless...just my opinion |

Went 40-5 today in that "deathtrap" its got a nice view of the field between B and C. |

I really like the pill boxes too, there's one on the ground on Manus Peak by objective C that's pointing towards objective B.
I really enjoy both using it, and assaulting it.

Ya its these small things that make this game really shine. Noticed this installation early on and find that a sniper and a MD up there really make for a good defense for an objective.
I also like the objectives that have the acid underneath it, there is a ladder for some odd reason that let's you descend into the acid, tried it and it ate away my shields with a touch! Cool little things like this makes me happy to be a tester. |

Also on one of the Manus Peak variations there is a pillbox just overlooking the spawn. its got a wonderful view of the field all the way back to the CRU |

The ladder is so you can get back up lol. I fell in that and thought i'd die like in the other maps but then i found the ladder just in time.

I love the new skirmish manus peak, the ambush is two small for my taste.
I wonder if the old it the un-upgraded version, and now we are testing the built up version after the district owner purchased upgrades?
It would be interesting to take a un-built up district, then place fortification to protect it before defender counter attacks. Prior owner spawns in, where did all those buildings come from, they're on the market now? |
