like who wanted this? the sight we had on the assault rifle was fine just the way it was. if people do not want the sight we had on the assault rifle then give us an option to remove it.
i am using an assault rifle years in the future and i do not have a sight on my rifle WHY exactly? this confuses me.
simply put i want my dam sight back on my rifle this is a lame and stupid change i can not get behind in anyway. if this is how they wish to take it then as i stated we should get options or something that allow us to put equipment like sights onto our assault rifles or idk what else we could equip but other things. like what about a bi pod for sniper rifles, maybe some kind of silencer for assault rifles.
anyways i am certain that i am not the only one dissatisfied with this change among many other changes, and we are all left asking what change this at all? |

Weapon customisation is coming SOONGäó and had been announced before the ironsights were.
Ironsights were shown a while back and lots of people said they wanted them.
There have been consistent and repeated complaints about the scope view on ARs being terrible.
This isn't the first thread on this topic since the change. |

I also think this serves to balance the game somewhat. AR used to be too acurate with no recoil and sniper scope sights. Iron sights I think take some of that crisp zoom away from AR which is appropriate since AR were too powerful. |

It didn't zoom much, tac did a little. The tac and burst still have the old sight. A lot of people requested iron sights, and the reflex from trailer. I look forward to replacing the iron with the reflex.
They finally have recoil, it was a not good when they had nearly none.
They had a little before, and the barrel rise doesn't recover. |

honestly the people that requested iron sights must have been stupid or had their heads bashed in or something. it makes no sense at all that i can afford a 100,000 dollar suit but i can not afford an assault rifle with a sight on it??
the sights were fine they should of been left in. the recoil and all the other changes i get and make sense to me but this is just ridiculous. i can not imagine that the number of people who wanted an iron sight out number the people who did not want an iron sight. iron sight i am finding is taking me out of the game and removing the experience i had. i mean seriously why dont i have a sight!!! |

Start using the burst AR if you want a sight, or the tactica because they still have the camera sights.
Iron sights are not very scifi, but its good for gameplay and balance; long range AR use now takes skill, and the increase in difficulty for long range use makes the laser rifle a more viable weapon for mid-long range (The ARs use to operate in almost any range with ease, making the use of other less versatile weapons less uncommon).
Iron sights encourage more fun frantic close combat.
I didn't want iron sights, but I find them much more fun actually. Weapon customization is coming in the future anyway, so no need to freakout. |

I personally am glad they brought it back for some guns.
Just because everything became digital scopes every one kept claiming this game was Halo, which is a dumb comparison to make based on one visual cue. But If I had a nickel. |

i certainly hope so. as i am really not liking that the rifle that i must use for a blue print gun has no sight on it. i will definitely be using a sight on all of my assault rifles as to be honest the iron sight has made my shooting even worse, and i was not a good shot before that lol |

gonna have to say i was against the whole iron sights thing, but you learn how to adapt and change your playstyle or at least i have, im getting used to the iron sights. I just dont take shots from long range. and if you get too close im throwing a nade at your feet, just saying....its worked well so far. So the iron sights aren't as bad as what i first thought they would be. |

The only people who compared it to halo were butt hurt Xbox fanboys who never even played dust, just sat there on YouTube watching videos wishing it was them playing.
Games will always be compared to others, like all fps games are a 'cod rip off', all open world games are a 'gta rip off', all RTS games are 'command and conquer rip off', all racing games are 'gran turismo rip off', said claims only being made by immature teenage basement dwellers.
If their argument is to be supported then I guess ALL fps games are a doom/wolfenstien rip off, because said titles started it all. |

I personally preferred the scope sights back when iron sights were suggested, but a lot of people seemed to want them so w/e, it is just sights after all. We will get weapon customization soon so we shouldn't worry about it too much at this stage. |

I didn't like the iron sights at first, but understood that the AR was too overdone beforehand. It had no real recoil, and too much accuracy to the point where you could snipe with a regular AR with those scopes. Whereas with the iron sights, it encourages closer and desperate battles made to be more fun and challenging. However, if you prefer the old sights just use the burst rifles or tactical rifles. I myself am still getting used to the iron sight rifles, but I can adjust.
I prefer my mass driver combo, so I'm used to aiming up so the grenades curve down lol. |

i agree with the OP totally sucks and i didn't ask for the stupid Iron Sight to begin with . now if i wanted a iron sight i would go play some old ass WWII game that has the iron sight or some other re.tarded game with iron sights in their game . and besides correct me if im wrong here but if our troops are robots and are from far out into the future why don't we have something far greater than iron sights that tech is like so 1900s what bout laser sights or a normal high tech zoom ? or something along those lines . either way if you hate it adapt and go onto balance yourself out in other areas you got HMG, SMG ,Pistol ,Laser ,shottie to spec into to balance out the now lame ARs. |

its called balance, suck it up adapt or die or leave the game and stop bashing this game when you were lucky enough if you didnt buy the merc pack like a little b***** to be invited here.

Personally not a big fun of an ironsight. That's mostly 'cause I already sucked in close combat and now it's worse.... If it wasn't for the xp I would play sniper all the time . So am working on upgrading my submachine gun for a secondary /back up /close combat so I'll still have a chance
