ive been on and off this game since the beta has been released and now more then ever it seems skirmishes just have one team that dominates the other. every game ive played this morning its been my team dominating or my team being dominated. Any thoughts on this or am i just having bad luck with teams. |

This happens constantly with me, I'm just hoping it has to do with the small player base. You have a few of the better squads running top end gear and working together and they just **** the hell out of newer players, or guys like myself who tend to only run militia gear. Here's hoping it's just a population issue. |

To OP, I would suggest making friends with a few corps. Find one that is a good fit for your type of playing. Squad up and work as a team to take objectives and kill enemies.
Zion, STB, SYN and others have great leadership and good people in their corps. Talk to them about joining, this is not COD, you are not rambo. You need a team of players to achieve a good game.
Even then, it is still a battle to win. But much easier then going solo. |

Every game is lopsidded one way or another. Either my team is dominating or we're getting dominated. Yet to have a truely even match yet. |

Aren't there other forums for corp recruitment? |

You don't even need to join a corp to group up. (Which is great for people like me who intend to stay NPC corp forever)
Lots of corps have public channels you can join to chat with them or squad up wit hthem. I squad regularily with people from every corp I can, and I welcome anyone and everyone sending me invites.
But like said above : Dust is very much a team game. The teams that lack teamwork are the ones that are visibly stomped by teams that do. Not a lot of people getting into dust realize this yet. Most people are used to just playing FPS games where the only thing that matters to them are their own stats, and winning/losing the game isn't actually important.

Joined a random pub match earlier today. Both teams joined one player at a time, right from the start of the match.
I played the role of "good squad leader" and my squadmates followed around the green dot Logi with the Defend order on her, pouring the WP in to all of us. I ran around a little way from the core group, flanking enemies with my Shotgun, and catching them off-guard while they focused on the blob in front of them.
I ended the battle with only 5 kills, but over 1800 WP to my name (more than 1000 WP above the nearest enemy score, and about 500 more than my nearest teammate). Our team dominated, the enemy team was slaughtered.
Several members of well-known corps were on the enemy team, but I'd never heard of anyone I saw on my team before that match. They might have been good players I've never had the fortune of running into before now, they might be alts, or they might be noobs. I don't know, but we all worked together nicely, and the other team came at us one by one, and let us rip them apart on our terms.
Apart from that one sniper who REALLY got me kittened off... But I eventually got behind him while he was busy, then dropped an Orbital Strike on him when he was heading back to the high ground. |

I did for a while, but yesterday I was playing nothing but fairly even matches. I was pleasantly surprised.
Even when it didn't feel like we were doing well, our MCC was still about on par of health with theirs. |

This is so besides the point. What the author said was that the matchmaking system for battles is not working well, frequently stacking two corp squads against randoms in the other team instead of sorting pre-formed corp squads - one for each team. This is completely true - at the present stage of beta sorting preformed squads into opposite teams makes total sense. |

it also doesnt help when you join matches and all points are red before you spawn. doesnt seem that bad when you do it to someone else but this hasnt been fixed yet... since its all random battles |
