first off; this isn't a QQ thread; simply something i think i've noticed so curious on others opinions.
Im finding that the burst is worse then it was pre-patch; for 2 elements changed:
1). It seems like it has random bullet spread almost; as it isn't a straight shot now; but has more shots to left & right
2). Each burst is taking 7 shots of recoil into consideration, instead of there being a set recoil amount per burst (if that makes any sense).
Was curious on what others thought who have been using the burst lately; as it feels a tad "off" |

At long ranges it seems like only the first shot has a good chance at hitting; the rest are pure luck. Also after the burst is done the gun ends up being off slightly from where you previously were aiming which isn't what happens even after a full clip is emptied with an assault rifle.
Still a good option for scope lovers, but a lot harder to use than before for sure.
Edit: Hopefully when customization comes out we can change the amount of shots per burst. Also wasn't there supposed to be a crafting system in dust where players and corporations can sell blue print originals as copies to others? |

using burst? i tried it.. not a fan, still have 4 left though, i could try it some more (i only tried it once lol at least this build, i used it many many builds ago when Framerate was horrible)
i'm also only using the most basic Burst, none of the higher tier ones. nice job to anyone who can go over 20+ kills. i've managed 20 kills but i'm dying more too. usually between 1-4 deaths a game |

yeah, i got the advanced burst to try out along w/ the others; and i really feel that only the proto is really effective. BUt i do agree with you Gimm. , the burst seems wonkey now with its shots and its stability. |

Me? I only used the basic burst for like 2 rounds, gave it up halfway through both times and switched to the Exile.. the gun just isn't really for me, can't really offer much constructive feedback on it :P |

ah, yea i've been doing okay with the Exile myself, since the damage was brought closer the guns really aren't that much different
although, i did pull out my Duvolle like twice... it does do damage but i dont live forever with all these mass drivers and shotguns now lol. however, Ludwig Van Beatdropin was still rockin deathless, i envy him :) i even saw him solo a tank and win! lol |
