8 'the little things' make this build great it's the detail that I love like the deployment status on the top right corner or the new LAV sounds which sounds just like it should , the nova knife , iron sights and overall improvements with 720p Felt like a new game for 2 days. |

So far I give it a 7 out of 10.
The Pros - The 3 letter map that has been redesigned is by far the best design by CCP in any build. The fact that each letter has its own unique battle ground surrounding and the difference in elevation between those 3 CP's is so far the best part of this build.
Extra Effects - Really smooth frame-rate, good use of lighting and sound on the maps and the sounds coming off each weapon and equipment is great. I love seeing the lightning hit the ground, again nice effects. Bullets hitting off walls and seeing the bits fly off, is a nice touch. Orbitals are amazing now, MCC being hit by missiles looks cool.
Redid the Skill point list, added new names and definitions. Much clearer to understand, will be better for new players to understand what to spend those points on.
Cons - 4 letter map, has some seriously crazy lag around CP A, between CP and the CRU not sure why though. Reduction in AR, again they used the Nerf Hammer instead of a scalpel, but this is pretty much on par what CCP has been doing. Still get the occasional Error message but its for all new reasons, so good and bad.
Best build so far, but still not a live game update worthy. But better CCP, much better.

Errr you do realise except for the iron sights on standard and breach AR's all they did was FIX the AR? There is no mention of nerfs to the AR in the patchnotes at all. |

Only a few games in so this is not final. Frame rate is awesome that gotta earn a bunch of points. I think controller is way more responsive but I am still getting a feel for it. The things that I am disappointed by are most persistent lack of balance between classes of suits and weapons.
As someone who runs as a scout w/ SG, this build is another exercise at being a pin cushion for me.

Dunno what to make of it, just seems more of the same to me.
still comes down to who has the best gear or runs with the largest group wins.
As for the iron sights they seem slightly offset to the left if you look long enough down them and the ds controls still seem difficult to aim exactly where you want and you have to constantly recorect your aim.
This build and the last one just don't do it for me, I just don't get the urge to play and when I do it just dosn't excite or feel fun.
I've come to the conclusion if this is how dust is going to be, it's just not an fps for me.
Not saying it's a bad game it just dosn't seem that good (for me)

7/10, Like the iron sights new textures/maps and the whole new feel to the menus, new music, skipping audio bug fixed, exile rifle (if dat counts), and new nova knife . Dislike not being able to choose if I want the iron sights (Don't get me wrong I like them but I just don't want them "all the time" so to say) |

Iron sights aren't as bad as I thought they'd be, though it's very difficult to be effective in mid-long range fights for me now (coupled with the recoil). Gameplay, UI, loading screen wait time--basically everything--is a lot smoother and is a lot more responsive and enjoyable.
That being said, I'm disappointed by lack of the yellow area they were talking about that would presumably prevent red-line sniping and why oh why does counter-hacking still not give WP?? |

eehhhh 6 no uhh eeuh ill go with...7.25/10 I love how smooth it is as well as the frame rate,3 new maps, and more tight gameplay. On the other hand i dont think iron sights are meant for this game.You can barely hit a thing a long OR close range with them cause they take up so much space for aiming.there too thick Its actually hard to use them now.As for MDs there op.I could use one no problem barely any skill.And its rate of fire is a bit to high.Lasers are balanced however they actually require skill.But they should stay the way they are.People are complaining cause of its range.But thats the point of it doing more damage at Semi-long range any closer and you might as well point a flashlight in there eyes. |

I would give it a 6/10. This is actually a very good grade because it's a beta. Upon launch I'm hoping we have an easy 10/10 game.
I'm getting used to the new AR but I'm actually becoming quite good at it, and realizing short bursts are more accurate than firing for an extended period of time. I can hit scouts running around with shotguns and it doesn't look like they're skipping around.
Also I found it's hard to kill a heavy with an AR. In a 1v1 I used to be able to do ok, but now I'll eat their shield but always die before their armor goes down half way. If I'm lucky it will go below half. This is actually great and how it should be.
I can't wait for the next build when we'll hopefully get some grass, trees, and other effects. |

Iron Sights are garbage. Mass drivers are OP as ****. Lots and lots of nade spamming so far. Reduction in dmg between weapons was un-needed imo. To much recoil for the Tact. AR. Weird recoil in general. Everything shakes after 20 continuous rounds which is really annoying. The recoil isn't really recoil. It is shaking. I was expecting it to be vertical recoil and some side to side recoil, but not "my gun moving spasmodically around my screen".
Tbh, the very biggest problem I have with this build is these ******* "take up half my screen" iron sights. You know what I can see 40m away while ADS? Not a damn thing. I wish CCP would have at least made it to where you could customize your sights at least. Just between the two. Iron sights, or scope. But w/e. I'll play this build. I'll GG, but in the end, this will always be my least favourite build. |
