Not sure why we logi's don't receive War Points for repairing our HAV buddies
EDIT: Applies to repairing vehicles (assuming that it is manned of course) as infantry via the Repair Tool (flux being used to increase repair rate on vehicle).
Also applies to using a vehicle's Remote Armor Repairer and/or Remote Shield Transporter on another vehicle.
No War Point gain from either of these cases, limiting the utilization of such to an 'effort without reward' basis. |

The problem is that you can damage a vehicle, repair it, then damage it some more, which was the reason they removed wp for repairing in the last update.
I'm sure that even with the limits they have now, repairing vehicles could still be a way to farm sp, so they might have disabled it all together. |

How could they farm WP with the limits they have now? You have to go near enemies to make points. |

War point caps are also in place for this. I'm not saying that it isn't farmable, but it would be nice for those of us who are making the effort to at least get something back so that when we logi-bros are trying to help our HAV buddies it doesn't look terrible on us at the end of the match when our war points are in the double digits. |

At the very least, make it so vehicles repairing other vehicles get points at the moment, it's not worth the effort to repair another vehicle for most people and if you're an LAV driver that wants to remote repair other vehicles you literally get no points, unless you have a good gunner in the back, and then it's all assists risk =/= reward. this is still an issue, and we need a way for our logi buddies to get rewarded. Maybe making it so you only get points from damage done by enemies maybe? ;) |

Not gonna happen. There was a massive amount of exploits going on with that very subject. It might happen if CCP can come up with an exploit proof solution. Until then, hold your breath and hope you look good in Blue. Or don't hold your breath and move on to something else.
In case you didn't know, they removed the ability to repair Installations at all. Even for no points. I would rather I was able to repair them even If I didn't get any WP for it. |

Why can't they just change it so you get no points if you are repairing a vehicle that took friendly/collision damage, but if it took damage from an enemy shooting at it then yes. Surely they should have a way to determine that.
Really their WP system makes no sense, a lot of things you'd expect a nice teammate to do aren't given any points so they simply don't do them. Personally I don't understand the core of WP, I understand you need them for precision strikes but I get around the same ISK and SP after each match regardless of my WP. |

This is how it works in Planetside 2. I'd like to think that a game like Dust, with its much smaller player count, would be able to handle this as well. Hopefully in a future update this'll be changed.
