Just went 2-3 with my Medic fitting and topped the round with over 1200 sp. Not to mention, it's even easier to get wp when you're repairing or reviving someone next to a "defend" objective
+72 wp for each revive (60 normally) +42 for each guardian (35 normally) +30 for each triage (25 normally)
Pretty nice bonuses, and it makes playing logistics SO WORTH IT. I've always wanted to get sp for repairing someone as they're getting shot at, or repairing as they take down enemies. This is like an early Christmas present, and I'm loving it.
Even when I stopped getting sp after I hit the limit, it just made me want to keep doing what I was doing because who knows when that invisible timer will run out? It's a great solution, and it's keeping me in the game wanting more.
This is exactly how the medic role should be played.
Edit: Fixed some of the numbers (and thanks Cross for mentioning guardian) |

Yep. Absolutely loving this build as a logi.
And that problem with hitting the correct spot to stab with injectors.... I haven't had that. Even in a heat of battle and my hands shaking. :) |

As a guy who picked Logi first and had to do other stuff for warpoints, I'm very happy with the update. I really like the Guardian bonus for every kill a healing target makes. Feels like I'm playing the TF2 medic.
And the best thing: People are carrying nanite injectors again! |

I used to repair before it was cool.
Nah but it's alot more satisfying playing as a logi now: The injector stab spot seems more consistent, the equipment selection reel is alot more smoother, meaning I am already repairing a guy before he gets back up. |

I'm not a full-featured Logibro (got a couple of Skinweave fittings, but mostly run Scout or Assault), but I often have a Repair Tool on me (and did so even in Codex, because awesome). I'm VERY happy about the new build restoring WP for repairs, and I quite enjoy how they've done it too.
Also, if I'm your SL, expect to see the defend order on your Logi suit. It's the best place for it to be. |

I started running logi after the WP repair tool nerf so this is the first I've seen of the points. I have to agree that the extra incentives are working as intended. I'm still repairing even when I've hit the limit.
It makes me prioritize helping over damage dealing in the middle of battle. Now I'm staring at my targets armor bar as he takes damage and repair at the same time and wishing for a faster repair rate. The repair tool has edged out the drop uplink from my equipment inventory on my default fitting. |

I run an Assult suit with a Repair tool - Am finding that sometimes it is better to shoot the red dots than repair the blue dot; once you get outnumbered (or just even-numbered), chances are that the guy/girl you're rep'ing won't be able to cover you alone. When this happens, grap your gun, push the reds back a bit before repairing some more.
Other than that, it is nice to see that we some points for the repair-work. Is making me enjoy my suicide-runs more! |

I agree with the general sentiments of this post
I do have to site differing numbers however, from my testing since the build went live raw values (values without squad order bonus applied) are as follows. 60 per Revive (Injector Meta scaling is still broken, rewards use of Militia over use of Proto) 35 per Guardian (it's called savoir in other versions o the client? Interesting ) 25 per Triage
Gains cap at ~150 WP per window (gains being those from the Repair Tool, revives are aren't included in the tally).
All in all this build makes me a happy Logi, but there are still some areas which need proper polish.
Good post, +1 Cheers, Cross |

THIS BUILD FING ROCKS. I feel like theres less sacrifice involved while playing a logi role now. And the way the battle flows on these maps now, it just make doing my job easier. There's just one thing I haven't tried yet, and its the vehicle to vehicle remote repair/shield reacharge modules. It seems like it could be a role that's fun as hell to play, but there just isn't enough vehicle combat happening right now, so I dont think i'd be much use. The game runs so well now, hopefully we'll get to see more content put in from now on. |
