It would be extremely useful to be able to select multiple fits to edit and replace item(s) with another like in a text editor with control + H. Also having better ways to manage fittings would nice. For example, there are 5 fits that have standard assault rifles on. With the feature I am suggesting, I would be able to select these 5 fits, edit them all at once, and replace all the standard ARs with Exile ARs by just doing one replacement instead of 5.
A more ambitious and useful aid would be to have a auto-naming manager that could name fittings based on set rules which we define based on what's inside fittings and names we set for items, like for dropsuit types, tiers, and varients.
One naming style we could set up could be "DROPSUIT Tier MetaLevel High slots & Lows [tierVarientWEAPON/tierVarientSIDEARM/tierEquipment] Price" and have it ignore standard tiers for the tier section and meta level 1 for militia and standard.
I could have an advanced logistics dropsuit with a 3 advanced shield extenders, standard 'Exile' assault rifle, standard AV grenades, flux repair tool, standard nanite injector, standard nanohive, a cardiac booster, an advanced armor repairer, and standard armor plating. Then set abbreviations for items and activate it. Next it would name that dropsuit "LOGI Adv 2S-A-2R ['Ex'AR/FRep/Inj/advHive] 64.3K" |

I'm lost after the first part about the changing 5 fits at the same time. Be more clear please? |

Sounds more complicated that it's worth not to mention incredibly lazy since it only takes a few seconds to change something, fitting as it is now is fine, I prefer looking at one suit in detail fitting it to the way I like it than rather having to select through a group of suits to get what I want not to mention almost all my suits are fit differently for different purposes, as for naming once again I'll just have to call that lazy and annoying, I don't want some stupid name like that attached to my fit when I make one I'll just slap things like "Recon" or "Assault" on them I name all my suits so I know exactly what they do if you're in need of this because you have so many different fits then you're either too picky or have too many in the first place keeping your fits organised is part of your job. |

A "default name formula" tool would be nice.
Not sure how they'd include the other part of the request with sixaxis controls. They could add functions like this for KB+M users, but it would be difficult to do the same for the standard console controller options. |
