This is in regards to the bug where you're stuck and get that wind sound that makes it seem like you're falling forever. I'm not sure if someone else posted this yet (Search function was of limited help).
1. If you think you've hit one of these spots, wait a second until you hear the "wind" sound so you know for sure.
2. Quickly press the Start button and wait about a second.
3. Press the O button (or whatever your Cancel button is).
This has worked the past few times for me, though I'm not sure if it'll work for all suits in all cases. If anyone is wondering what this does, it sort of forces your character forward until they land on normal ground. You will take a decent bit of fall damage (possibly relative to how long it takes you to press Start and Cancel), but hopefully this saves people some ISK. |

The way some of us have gotten around it is to yell at a teammate until they bring an LAV to you so you can enter the vehicle. Don't let them nudge you, though, or it'll pop you to the ground and you'll take the fall damage and die. |

I have had to request this type of support to get my fat *** out these situations several times. |

i've even melee'd some people and been melee'd out of being "stuck" before but it just kills you lol |

I wonder if the fix for entering vehicles at speed will prevent you from using the "enter vehicle" save.
I suppose it depends upon how it's coded. |

I ran into a weirder version of this glitch. I called in my experimental "healtank" (HAV with a supergood module to repair other HAVs), it landed near me, then I got stuck in place. Eventually, I just randomly died and it said "Scheneighnay McBob fell and died"
ofc, the HAV randomly exploded before I could get back to it. |

this happened to a corp mate that called in an lav but the lav was small enough that he could use the lav save. |
