CCP, by lowering the maximum ammo count (not referring to magazine) you create a necessity for players to tactically rely on nano hives more so and it may also reduce camping by not allowing campers the ability to camp as much due to fewer bullets to control an area with.
The same goes for controlling objectives, it would become more of a tactical battle by leaving players to rely on fewer bullets. Those not near a supply depot or nearby nanohives tactically supplied will eventually have to retreat when ammo is depleted.
This makes logistical planning an important part of strategic planning.
Limit the munition amount for vehicles and this might even be implemented to HAV's, LAV's, and Transports by requiring them to reload munitions. This also reduces camping with vehicles.
note: This lowering would be best suited to weapons that come with higher ammo count. Forge guns, swarms, and other weapons with low ammo count in the single digits would not need a lowering as they are already very low. |

Campers will just carry nanohives (most already do). Camping really isn't that big of a problem, and it'll be a non-issue once rewards are determined by who wins the match. If peeps want to camp w/o any checkpoints, that's their problem :P. |
