1 Hit Kill Weapon - What is IT?

There is one weapon out there that will kill me with a single shot. Sounds a bit like a saw blade grinding metal. What the heck is it?!? Makes the whole "upgrade your shield and armor" concept kinda pointless to me...

It's an anti-vehicle weapon, so it's supposed to be powerful. That said, not just anyone can kill an infantry with one. You have to be very very good or very very lucky to hit infantry. In short, not over powered at all.

No SG one shots a heavy off 15m. I doubt you can one shot anything beyond scout 15m away unless you are using a proto breach SG.

I would rather face a forge gun than face someone with a shotgun. i don't think that is accurate 10-15 meters will get me killed when i am using a SMG or a Shotgun, unless you maxed out both sharpshooting skills for light weapons. if someone is sitting 20 feet away and they have a AR i might as well be throwing the shells underhanded. the range is pathetic and to nerf the only thing the shotgun does and that is CQC you are just bringing the AR even closer to the only good weapon in the game against infantry. because balance isn't CCP's strong point they would just nerf the Shotgun's damage so it couldn't kill a assault suit on a head shot and leave it at that.

That one definitely sounds like a saw cutting through metal. It has a certain two-stroke nose to it as well in quick succession. The Ishukone version is a true one hit kill weapon that cuts down most assault suits.

Its very likely to be a shotgut as i've mentioned earlier. I use the grenades before i approach a heavy (It does most of the damage) and then i finish him off with a SG.

Allotek Breach Shotgun is beast. But remember guys it also depends on the players other skills that help produce the powerful Dmg. Also if you are rocking an AR keep at range. Shotguns are ment for CQC so I believe they are where they should be

That bieng said you probably took a couple of different weapon damages at once and a laser rifle probably got the kill cuz that's the closest that a blade grinding metal sounds like.
