I know that it was flattened so prototype players wont be in god mode, but I think it was a little too severe. I think they should have more shields and armor, but not to the extent they were before the patch. Anyone agrees? |

It was also done to speed up the gameplay. A lot of players wanted less drawn out fire fights. |

I fully support this idea.

Yes, which is why I added "But not to the extent they were before the patch". Even then, an extra two seconds isn't too time consuming. |

I don't want to sound like a **** but your idea will fail. Just think, Wont the players in the adv suits go for the head * I sure as hell do*? This will make it worse for newbies not better. And honestly noobs are noobs. They wont get better if you baby them with nerfs and buffs. They just got to suck it up and learn to play. |

Right! take a good fps player, let him start playing dust now, and he will leave, thinking that dust is bugged because in other games he can kill everything but in dust he's not able to. Yet, I don't want this game to be another CoD (personally hate CoD) but you know...for balance's sake.... If you add damage to headshot good players with good drop suits will own, good players with militia will be ok and bad players with proto will suck. Like a game is meant to be. You play a game for many reasons, but we all can agree you play for fun. If you start playing today you won't have fun. That's it. |

That already happens due to frame rate issues and connectivity. Not to mention the proliferation of Kb/M use amongst players that ported over from PC based games to this console.

The heavy suit only gains one slot over adv. at proto level, all other suits gain 3. So heavy needs either 2 more slots or its adv to proto hp back.
I used a unmodified frontline starter with no sp spent on char in matches during server swarm with my alts( this was my main, at last build it became an alt since I haven't spent any sp on it). I had a lower kdr then normal, but it was still around 7kills 5 deaths, and some kills were adv suit users. |

Personally, I think that the current HP values are fine. By equalizing the HP of the dropsuits, the qualities of any two gamers being compared are what mods they fit on to their suits, where their SP investment is, and how good their gun game is. These are all qualities that any person can have, regardless of how many hours they've put into DUST.
If we increase the HP values for higher tier dropsuits however, two people who are equal in the three attributes I mentioned above would be very unequal in game play. In any even situation, ISK (Or worse, AUR if dropsuits get AUR variants) wins. As a competitive FPS, I don't think that should be the case. A FPS pro should be able to mop the floor with blueberries because he's a good shooter, and not be impaired by bad players with high end gear. But, that's just my 0.02 ISK
Take care,

I like the flattened HP, personally. The extra slots that higher level suits have make up for it in spades. A well tanked advanced suit is a much harder nut to crack than any militia suit. |

I love how you guys all just think in terms of DPS and EHP.
What about giving suits specific advantages to individual roles, such as heavy suits giving a bonus reduction to PG and CPU for heavy weapons. |

module slots combined with increased pg and cpu give u the ability to fit alot more stuff on ur suit like better extenders giving u more HP etc
flat suit HP is fine heavies need more mod slots for higher tiers |
